Dark All Day
As he takes from me my last breath, inhale
I’m picking up the scent
What a hell of a feeling
It is dark all day
But there is something in the sky that glows
What a hell of a feeling
With such a brilliant mind
Can you feel those chemicals in the air tonight
I will see you on the other side
I am your night girl, rip my heart out
Darkness falling yet another night
Come on Lost Boys, let’s stay alive
What a hell of a day to embrace disorder
And there is something in your eyes that burns
Light up. Drag the river
Can you see there are chemicals in the air tonight
I will see you on the other side
I am your night girl, rip my heart out
Darkness falling yet another night
Come on Lost Boys, let’s stay alive
Let’s fly
I will see you on the other side
I am your night girl, rip my heart out
Darkness falling yet another night
Come on Lost Boys, let’s stay alive
Goodnight my Lost Boys
Thou shall not fear

I grew up in the 80's and can confirm that blood rained from the skies all the time.
YOU REMEMBER THAT TOO!
Reign in blood 🤘😋
Yup I remember getting bloody rain all over our ferari's, delorean's or lamborgini's... made fighting crime a lot harder.
SLAYER
@@GUNSHIPMUSIC I also recall the blood rain. It was packed full of everything a growing boy needed! Long before those zany "Got Milk" commercials were all the rage and it wasn't even homogenized! 🤣
When you want to be a body builder but your parents are like "nope, you going to play the saxophone for a living", and you are like "I'll do both then"
lol
That's Tim Capello for ya, he used to play sax for Tina Turner and would play on stage looking like a oiled up Rambo
And then you yell out "I STILL BELIEVE" LOST BOYS
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Why god why XDXDXD
And occasionally bathe in demon blood
Gunship + Indiana's vocals + Tim Cappello's sax = a match made in synth heaven. Please do more collabs together
Tim ?? Didn’t he played with ghost two years ago . I think misma is the name of the song
@@zulemaleal5683 Are you kidding me ?
I´ll look for that song.
Ah you mean Miasma !
I didn´t know was Tim playing in that track.
Tim from lost boys the movie truest me he's there well younger sax player
I just got the new GS vinyl in the mail today. No Indiana tracks. Feels bad man 😔
@@zulemaleal5683 No, Tim Capello did not perform with Ghost as well. "Forge is not only Ghost's primary songwriter, he's also a multi-instrumentalist that's often tracked multiple parts on the band's records. For the synth-heavy jam, "Miasma," he even hummed the standout saxophone solo.Jul 27, 2021"
It's been nearly three years, and I still believe this is one of the greatest songs ever composed in the history of music.

alefnull EVERYTHING, needs more Tim Cappello!!!
That new teen RomCom'? Tim Cappello.
That X-Files 4K box set? Tim Cappello.
Those kicks you saw in that store 3 weeks ago? Tim Cappello.
That cute bathset you thought was to Femme? Tim Cappello.
Morning Cornflakes? Tim Cappello.
Chuck Norris? Tim Cappello.
Isn't the World more glorious now? ✨🎶🎷🎶✨
I Still Believe !!!!!!!!!!!!
Miguel Dias and i don't understand why you feel comfortable using that word. but i guess neither of us will ever get a satisfactory answer to our respective questions. in closing: go fuck yourself.
EDIT: and just as i suspected, the comment i replied to goes POOF. good riddance.
Miguel Dias You were being a racist pr*ck, but f**k it, I'll explain why they chose this colour for Tim's skin: The track is about Vampires/blood, and this is the colour Caucasian skin becomes when absolutely engorged with blood. This shade of Purple was the original tone chosen for the Incredible Hulk. But due to how expensive Purple ink was at that time, they had to go with Green. And Tim is the Sax Hulk! Behold!
I wanna see him perform "Paradise Warfare" with Carpenter Brut now. That would literally blow my mind. LOL! :D
Okay between Android 18 singing, Light Yagami playing the keyboard, Blade fighting the Lost Boys, the crotch gun, and SAX MAN there is a lot to unpack here...
RIGHT!? i was like "holy reference overload batman!"
Don't forget Seth Gecko From Dusk Till Dawn..and Buffy the vampire slayer I just noticed
I am pretty sure that isn't android 18 but instead Armitage its an older anime. Crouch gun is from Dusk til dawn.
Yeah, and isn't that blood rain at the end like the one from Evil Dead
@@Meemitalo_ it's a scene from Blade as well
The saxo guy deserves a place in heaven

He was Tina Turner's saxophonist too!!!!
Just watch “The Lost Boys”! He’s THE sax man!
He's the sax player in the movie Lost Boys.
What a fucking legend Tim Capello is.
The fascination with the 80's is a strange and wonderful thing to those of us who lived it.
I was born 1978..this video gives that nostalgic vibe big time. It feels like to me the 2020s will repeat the 80s ..well I hope it does in a cyberpunk way.
Believe me, it's stranger for those of us who never lived through it.
@@Pheonix0752 Haha.
Yep I lived it and it seemed to got by fast! Heck all the years go by so fast to me...
Just a blur of coke and camera flashes. Granted I was only 5 when they ended but I've been largely unimpressed by most everything since so I'll be riding this retrowave all the way into the sunset.
wtf did i just stumble upon?! its like my entire childhood and teenage years of nostalgic entertainment have been summed up in one music video. i can't even.

yep, make her permanent part of the group. I like her voice.
I have no idea how many times I've listened to this track over the last couple of years, but it still gives me the same goosebumps I got the first time.
Same here lol just commented the same thing and then read this lol
Man, Tim Cappello is an absolute beast. what a legend
Ester egg - Tim Capello in movie 1987 about vamps "Lost Boys"
not really a legend, tbh. An immense talent that has not gotten a 2nd chance to show off, 20 years later. Other than that/this, NO ONE knows him = NOT a legend. Get a clue.

Sax in black metal - works also. There's this band White Ward who do that. And also Ihsahn. Sax in anything? Usually works.
Tim Cappello aboslutely slayed with that saxophone.
This may be one of my favorite music videos of all time. They actually got the sax guy from Lost Boys!
Pretty sure he's the producer for this group
Gunship, you're my favorite.
"One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach, all the damn vampires." Great song and video! Loved it!
Means there will be more Vampires around Santa Carla
I know, right?! This is gorgeous, amazing!
Agreed! It goes too fucking hard & is Beautifully executed. Timeless.
That was my favorite line in that movie next to the one where he also tells his grandkids not to rip the price tag off the tv guide cause it'll just rip the cover and make it look bad.
Also this video/song is fantastic.
And that GOD DAYUM lochness monster!
I simply cannot stop listening to this song. This ties in everything I love about music. The 80's saxx, the female vocals, the strong rhythmic beat...what do I even call this genre?? This is the fourth Gunship masterpiece to absolutely grab me in the deepest part of my soul. Inidana...my god. I'd love to see this live, just to stand right in front of the speakers and let it pump through me while watching these gods of music absolutely NAIL IT.

Hats OFF GUNSHIP! 80s Nostalgia is great, but actually RESURRECTING characters from the best decade is on another fricking level. YES SEXY SAX MAN! We Still BEEELIEVE!
Thanks Kenny - doing that was a lot of fun and a total honour!
Every Generation has it's hero's and dignitaries, mine was without doubt the entire 80's a masterpiece in human history. Tim Capello was ahead of the pact, saxophone for me is one of the most underrated musical instruments and Tim was that man who took it to a whole 'nother level. I give thanks to God for those memories and all those who made my life so much more than it could have been without them in it.
First I was blown away by the visuals, then blown away by the music. I thought I couldn't get more blown away but then the switch to real people did it again.
Gunship in Santa Carla with From Dusk til Dawn, Buffy & Blade = GLORIOUS
He is playing the hell out of that sax
That sax is going to need a cigarette after.
I'm addicted to this hymn. Indiana + Tim took Gunship to another level. By the way Indiana's voice hypnotizes me.
Here's an amazing list of references in this video.

Hey Gunship! You must have some other footage lying around from the video shoot. I mean, the video is amazing as is! But Damagecontrol54 is right!

So extremely funny and hyper specific story about this song. I’m a rideshare driver and one night I had a passenger who was just chatting with me and eventually he asked me to play Cry Little Sister the Marilyn Manson cover but also asked me to guess what movie song it was a cover of. I had no clue until I heard the background vocal “thou shalt not fear” my brain made a connection to this song which I knew was heavily referencing Lost Boys. So not having any other inkling, I said Lost Boys. I was right and as a reward the dude no joke PayPal’d me $200. Possibly the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me and in a strange roundabout way it was thanks to this song. So thanks GUNSHIP
What city? Who are these people who tip $200 ?
Austin, Texas. And it was the weekend of ACL so he was a tourist in town. Took him from one hookah bar to another so it seems he had lots of money sloshing around@@lopiklop
OMG lol I bet that was NYC and that was a hedge fund bro.
This song turned the juices in my bloodstream into burning violet light, every inch is so striking, so luscious and explosive! Each emotion the melodies touch on is bottomless, this is music that calls out baying at the end of the day, hungering for prey~ The sun has fallen, and Gunship once again walks the night for you. Maybe I'm a little worked up, but that saxophone is molten joy, the perfect touch.
Where can I read more of what you've written?

This might be the ultimate tribute music video to the vampire genre (and others).
Gunship delivers.
Good lyrics by Indiana.
Tim Cappello continues his greatness on the saxophone.
Now, let's run down the list.
Santa Carla and the Frog Brothers are from Lost Boys film. Tim Cappello makes a cameo in the film.
Ryu from Street Fights on the drums. Light Yagami from Death Note is on the synthesizer. S Machine From Dusk Till Dawn I film on guitar.
The band's security team was Buffy Summers (the Vampire Slayer), Blade (Marvel Comics), and either Seth Gecko From Dusk Till Dawn or Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil. Blade's watch was inspired by the Predator wrist bomb.
The security team was doing well until Demitri Maximoff (Darkstalkers) showed up.
This music video is less than six minutes long and is more awesome than most action films made in the last twenty years.
Hmmm Im pretty sure The lead Vampire was just A super version of David from Lost Boys, they have the exact same hair and face.
And the third member if Security is DEFINITELY Seth. Same vest and almost the exact same tattoo, Seths tattoo in the movie went all the way up his arm, shoulder & neck.
Damn, I was wondering who the third security guy was, and as soon as you said Seth, the tattoo makes so much sense. Good work!
