That looked delicious Steve. Best Winter comfort food. I like your recipe. I also like adding mushrooms (tinned OK) and a couple of Star Anise. Stout instead of wine is 😋. Can't wait for Winter and don't mind the Microwave method either.

Seems yummy. Stuffat Malti...may include 4 bay leaves, twisted a bit from the centre so the flavour florishes.

Hi Steve nice recipe as always 😊 celery in maltese is called karfus but you can find celery like UK's in supermarkets as well 😊.
By the way they put flour on the meat before frying just to thick the stew .
