He was associated with several notorious gangs, including the Cowboys, and was suspected of being involved in the shootout at the O.K. Corral in Tombstone, Arizona. Ringo's life was cut short at the age of 32, when he was found dead under mysterious circumstances in 1882. Despite his reputation as an outlaw, Ringo remains a popular figure in Western folklore and has been featured in many books, movies, and TV shows over the years.
