    Loved this video. My Mum and Dad used to have an apartment in Puablo Canario, right by the golf course. Just seeing the seafront fills me with such nostalgia. Thanks for sharing XXX

    Still there? My grandpa lived on Calle Sierra De Gata. For me, all I see there is new stuff. None of that was there when I visited in the 80's.

      We left January 2021. We now live in Florida on the Mexican Gulf. Loved Spain but the lockdown rules were very strict.

    Hi liked your video as planning to buy vacation home - La envia region. I think 10 mins from beach etc. Originally planned for Torrevieja, Alicante but slightly cheaper here and Airport not too far. What do you reckon this as long term holiday home

      Hi. La envia area is very nice and picturesque. But there is not a lot to do. There is a golf course that a lot of people do not like because it is very hilly. The drive from La Envia to the nice restaurants and bars on the main beach is closer to 20 minutes. It is nice to live in the area where all the tapas bars and action is. It's nice to walk out and see these things. After a few times driving for 20 minutes it will become laborious. We have friends that were in La Envia but moved out to here in the urbanisation area. Good luck.

      @@pbaker777 Hiya, thanks and as long as there are good shops, shopping centre s d transport facilities, it wouldnt much bother us. Appreciate your help/comments

    Great video! Thank you for posting it.
    How/where did you find the apartment? Airbnb?

    • @pbaker777
      @pbaker777  Před 3 lety

      No. We used idealista.com. Then when we saw an apartment we liked we contacted the broker, mhcinmobilieria.com and they sent us a list of properties that matched and we chose this one. Note that for off season October thru May the rent was 600 Euros a month but the summer months change to about that a week. Hope this helps

      I can't speak to September. We live in Roquetas in the off season, October through May. I have never had a fly problem but there again we do not live near the nature reserve which is quite swampy. On facebook there is a Roquetas De Mar page, people are very helpful and will answer your questions - here is the link. facebook.com/groups/271924440416774/?multi_permalinks=487975728811643%2C486994475576435%2C483483999260816%2C487955268813689%2C487616212180928¬if_id=1581178290815490¬if_t=group_activity
