With this D3 its all about feeling out the timing, once you get it, you will understand how it is executed. Hopefully this video can help you understand it a bit better.
TLDW; The D3 pickup is timing based and the other pickups need a small dash forward to pickup

The first Tekken I've played since Tekken 3 and 4 when I was a kid. I love how much fun it is to learn this character. I thought I was going to have a hard time learning it, but it's been a really fun process, I feel like I'm getting more consistent with the character every day. thanks so much for your guides bro! I hope you keep bringing more Lee content
Glad it helped and nice to hear that youve played the older titles. Tekken 3 was revolutionary at the time and gave me some good memories too. Stay excellent out there 🌹
Nobody has mentioned it, but very important to note, f,f+4 DOES NOT need to counter hit for a combo, you can pick up off of a normal hit.
If people are having a hard time with B3,3 after a ch 1+2 (not into hms) you can do a quick short dash into DF4, and then b3,3 hits normally
preciate it, learned it in 30 seconds with your help lol
@@thegimix5376 no worries glad it helped
thanks man been needing this
@@felipe30381 no problem
Cannot overstate the importance of not hitting the charge up ability by accident. I got launched into orbit a few times for that one. Eggsellenttt work 🌹
Its got me a couple times too 😅
Brilliant, keep the guides coming, they're great
Thanks glad you enjoyed it
Your guides sure helped me learning Lee thank you so much !
I'm glad it helped
Thanks so much for making this video! New to Tekken but I gravitated to Lee after trying kazuya. Took me a while to find this but this level of information is super helpful.
Glad you found it helpful, Lee is super fun
Amazing video, thanks for posting and would love to hear more tips for Lee
Glad it helped and will do, working on some more videos
I feel like Azukiiro is way better at Street Fighter
maybe ill jump on for ed? @@Mclovin_206
After I had watched the VDO, I DID IT AT THE FIRST TRY!! Thank you so much!! Why Lee is so hard 🤣
No problem, he is hard but the style points are worth it 😎
I don't know what I'm doing here. Just got T8 after not playing Tekken since Tag1.
Save it for later :)
@@Azukiiro_ ok
D3 is definetly the hardest to pick up, mostly during matches
With enough practice you can hit it regularly :)
d3 pickup is more consistent than ws23 into heat
4:20 to see combo
This is the most annoying thing about learning this freaking character ever since Tekken 7. I'm just gonna straight up give up on learning this character. It's not worth the mental strain.
Honestly, Lee is very hard. Only play him if you really like him or if you're up for a challenge. He's definitely a character specialist
ur just not like that ig
Man this shit aint even hard like that. 😭 Let the character be technical ffs
