      Thanks for watching! We actually do have customers who use the balers for this after hay season when the leaves are falling. There's just a few things to keep in mind when baling different types of materials. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions and we're happy to help you however we can. I really like the setup and have myself and 2 other hobby farms lined up to buy the bales. Like one other guy said, I want to control the timing of the baling process so we have good quality hay. Does anyone know if the bales sell on the open market? If I have excess bales I would like to sell them but they are different. I guess if the quality is good someone will buy these things and figure out a way to stack them. Thank you, Tony

You can stack like firewood, on pallets, straight up and down in a barn etc.. We can share a few pictures of how our customers stack bales as well via info@tractortoolsdirect.com. Thanks!

      Market them to horse and pony owners. I should think that women and the elderly especially would be grateful of the added ease and conveniencet of their light weight and portability.
      You could probably sell them at a greater profit for this "Fun size" alone, as it is with all convenience sized products everywhere.

    I wouldn't like to be the owner of animals who got to eat that hay before it was opened out and dusted. Phew. That was a helluva lotta dust.
    Anyway, great product and great job of making it so widely compatible and compliant in all situations. 👏👏

      Thanks for watching. Hard telling why this hay was so dusty on this one since this video was made 6 years ago. We do end up baling some unusual pastures and places to test our equipment from time to time and have bales from all types of material sitting around the warehouse for us to use when testing equipment. That sure was dusty though! Thanks again!

    The only way I can see this mini round baler being worth it is if you crank the weight of bales up to about 60 to 80 pounds or so and have it as a baler and wrapper combination. That way, you would cut your time somewhat. I have seen on CZcams that they do this on some farms in Europe. So the question is, do these mini balers come with a combination wrapper?

    • @Tractortoolsdirect
      @Tractortoolsdirect  Před 6 lety +2

    • @tyleracmason
      @tyleracmason Před 6 lety

      Is this a wrapper that is in COMBINATION with the baler? In other words, as a bale is being made the previous bale is being wrapped all in the same motion on the same tractor.

      @@Tractortoolsdirect I'm sorry but that's not worth it. Might as well square bale. I would buy one if the bales could be made a little bigger and come with combo wrapper to save time. Doing it this way would be more time consuming and harder to handle than square bales. Sorry!

      Lots of them are women and girls, plus you've got elderly people who are still in love with keeping a few ole animals around, and these lighter bales make it possible for all of these people to easily transport them by hand. And where they can't lift them, they can just roll them along, so they have that advantage over small square bales.

      @@bodhixxx1, He could have adjusted the rake. The balers have been used for decades in Europe. One can get a fifty-sixty# bale by adjusting the tension. Haymaking equipment is expensive, so one should do the math! Personally, I can't stand to depend on someone else to do my work. Probably an ego problem. But, this equipment can pay for itself after a few years, depending on how much one uses it. It is definitely geared for the hobby farmer, not to make money off of. Baling pine straw, now that may be a money maker! The rake works great and is almost fool proof. By the way I use it on a "walking tractor". I just like the exercise and the ability to work very steep slopes!
