She was completely done with Phaedra and refused to film any scenes with her, even group scenes. The producers weren’t gonna pick Phaedra over Kandi so she was gone. Hence her tag line, “don’t mess with the boss or you might get fired.”
In Kenya's defense, her own family wasn't there. So Cynthia shouldn't feel a way about nothing.

😁 If you notice, she hates awkward situations -- like the times she saw Porsha at Cynthia's party and Shamea's bridal shower. She either tries to run away somewhere else, or distract herself with her Kandi Factory goons. On the San Fran trip, she decided to be cordial because she and Porsha were going to be trapped on that train and then stuck together the whole day. Nowhere to run to, and no Don Juan or Carmon to ignore Porsha and talk about her like a dog with.
Here’s my thing with Porsha. Yes, she was involved in a terrible lie last season but I don’t think it was done maliciously. She was going off of what Phaedra told her. None of us would question sumthin a close friend told us about sumthin THAT serious. No one wants to think that they could have a close friend who would make up a story about sumthin so serious as RAPE. So I’m not defending her but she was just taken down the rabbit hole because of Phaedra.

They didn't have to show any of Phaedra's lies or rumors. They could have stopped and addressed the scandal before it started, but they chose not to. When the heat got hot, they accepted no responsibility and fired Phaedra.
