There is one for each main charater (currently 6 official themes.)
There is one for every main side character (jobro).
And one for every main villain (currently 6 official).
In conclusion, i have no idea because i feel like everyone has a theme and the ones listed above is just the more general ones.
I think it's easier to watch the show if you like JoJo's for its music.
The guy with the pit orchestra theme you reacted to actually has 2 themes, that and "another face, same mind"
For the main jojo's there are currently 6 for the other main characters there are 20+ and for the other minor and major antagonist are 20 or 30+
For the Main Villains there are 7 i think The openings are 13 currently i guess
More than one for each animated part and even then there's some amazing fan-made soundtracks of parts 7 and 8

Joseph is definitely a energetic character, his theme plays when he fights, and it all feel like a big adrenaline rush. Joseph is clever, cunning, and strong

the contrast between the more quiet and slow sections and the powerful fast sections is perfect for joseph. he isn't non stop action, joseph does a thing sees how things play out, stops, thinks for a moment, figures out what to do and then explodes back into action. (or he uses his secret technique)

Fun fact: the rapper in Joseph's theme is Lotus Juice, a rapper who's found most of his claim to fame rapping on Persona music, namely songs from Persona 3!
Also, interesting that this song made you think of STARS because those take a very protagonistic role in the series, they're the unique brand of every JoJo
I mean, the whole family is the Joestars, Jotaro’s Stand is _Star_ Platinum, and some looser connections could be made with Josuke’s and Giorno’s Stands, with diamonds shining like stars, or stars giving off a golden light.
I see shapes & colors as well with the instrumentation. I wonder if the star-shape he had in mind was similar to that of the Joestar birthmark

Joseph's Theme is kinda the odd one out because it's the only jojo MC Theme that has actual lyrics , but I guess in the anime you only hear the instrumental in the anime

Well think about it, Joseph is the loudest JoJo. His entire training arc is about controling his emotions and keeping it calm. I think the lyrics arent neccessary but it definetly fits him.

To say the mangaka loves western music is a bit of a understatement. David productions the anime studio behind Jojo go directly to him to ask what the ED's song should be and they do this for all parts currently released. He picks based on what he thought he was listening to as he created that part. He names a lot of the characters, places, powers etc after a western song or artist. While the Mangaka doesn't have say over the soundtrack as whole. I can imagine that they draw inspiration from him based on his tastes and thoughts.

I've been waiting for this one ever since you did Giorno's theme! HAMON OVADORAIVOOO!
One of the things I love about jojo is that they never just stick to music that fits the exact time period and setting. those aspects are there as an undercurrent, but the main star is always the most hyper modern and fresh ideas the composer can come up with. The feeling it gives me is that the style and confidence of these characters is eternal, not something that will ever become outdated.
Definitely would recommend Avalon, that's one of my favorite themes. Kind of slept on by its big brother, "Awaken", which you already did, but I actually much prefer it. It's got this whole choir dubstep thing going on.
If you'll watch the show, you'll notice how good each theme fit it character
Don't forget to listen to Jonathan's theme, It's an orchestral masterpiece
joseph is best jojo. he takes on the most big bads with the fewest companions. he's the goat
Recognized Lotus Juice's voice in this, who is a singer that also sang in Persona games, which also have animes if you're interested. Shoji Meguro did osts that had that old rap feel.

The early "heart beats" are more likely "breathing" since special breathing is integral to Joseph's special ability.

Very Nice. part 2 and part 1 of Jojo have soundtracks composed by different people than the other parts. I would love to see you react to some Hayato Matsuo, like Jonathan's theme, Baron Zeppeli's theme, or Tarkus' theme.

This theme reflects young Joseph really well, he starts off cool and pretends to not care, but eventually, it's all fire and lightning speed

As you pointed out, this theme sounds very different from the others, and there's actually a reason to that.
The first three main character themes, Jonathan, Joseph, and Jotaro, were unrelated, and based wholly on the overall feel of the character. I won't talk about Jonathan since you haven't heard his theme yet, but you've got Joseph who is very flashy, works solidly outside of the box, and is the most urbanesque of the JoJo's, as a loud and proud punk (for the time of the setting), and Jotaro being just overpowering, a mix of old and new, straight-forward yet unpredictable.
After part three, the other main character themes are instead built off of Jotaro's (as is the series) or eachother's, to instead emphasize the similarities and connections amongst the characters in spite of their distinct personalities. It's at the point that, if you isolated the different layers from the part 3-5 (and even 6 to a degree) main character themes, you can switch them around and still have a more or less coherent song. Honestly think it's pretty cool.
The composer from part 3 onwards is Yugo Kanno, however he wasn't on for parts 1 and 2 (Joseph's theme is from part 2 respectively) and those kind of parts have a more, not calmer but a mix between orchestra and disco, with a different composer. He actually had an event lately with the release of the newest anime about a little under a year ago where he remixed all of the main 'jojo' characters themes, parts 1 and 2 if which just weren't included because Yugo Kanno just didn't make them and such didn't have access to them

I love to listen to instrumentals so that i can hear all kind of mumbo jumbo that me as a listener dont understand but it gives me the feel to it when u feel amazed. I also listened to some orchestra idk why but i just enjoys it also listening to theme songs like potc, jojo is very fun

FYI, the twitch link in the description is broken, might wanna fix that! Anyways, I said this in another video, but I'd love to see you react to the music from the Halo games. The main Halo theme is among the most famous of all video game music tracks, but the franchise has so much other pieces that are easily as good or better, and the genres and tones can change pretty significantly across the series. If you do check it out, beyond the obligatory main them (of which I'd reccomend the "MJOLNIR mix" version with Steve Vai on the electric guitar or the "One Final Effort" version with piano), I'd reccomend "Deference For Darkness: Rain" (which is IMO THE best track across the series and gaming as a whole, a very noire piece), "In Amber Clad", "Heavy Price Paid", "Under the Cover of Night:, and "Heavy Price Paid". Good mix of bombastic, melancholic, and groovy tracks!
It’s funny that you hear a kind of heartbeat, given some of the events in Joseph’s story
Overdrive is easily one of my favourites from Jojo, it fits Joseph perfectly. You should check out Dio’s theme or Dio’s World, one of my favourite tracks of the whole series.

Alright since you asked a bit about this char imma try to explain him without spoilers. Basically you can imagine Joseph as a young, goofy Batman. Arguably the smartest char in the series and able to do almost everything with enough prep time (hence the calm beginning of the song). And when he has a plan he dominates the field with his sheer power and energy aka the Overdrive. My fav JoJo protagonist since he has more layers than an onion.

I would definitely recommend listening to the soundtracks for the more recent Jojo games,All Star Battle and Eyes of Heaven. They're already great right off the bat,but i especially love this composition choice they do,where a lot of the characters will have riffs and such that are deliberately a homage to a band they're named after

I like How this song is like a contrast to the year which the séries take place and the year which the series was made.
Joseph is a Guy who lives in New York of 1940, and his theme is a dubstep synthwave song, which makes Sense If we look the year which the animated series was made, in 2013, when dubstep was trending.
for more good jojo themes, i highly recommend 'avalon' and 'burning colosseum'! they're from the same era as 'overdrive' and the pillar man theme 'awaken', so they have a similar musical style. there's a lot of fantastic songs on the soundtrack though, so i'll be happy regardless of what you choose to listen to. great video!
Keep in mind that all the themes you were reacting to (except openings of course) come from the same composer, Yugo Kanno, who is still composing for JoJo, but this one was made in an early stage of the show by another compiser named Taku Iwasaki, but I still think he did a great job.

Part 2 ist the best in my opinion. But I've only watched the anime and didn't read the manga + I've only watched part 1-5.
You've listened to the base version for the opening, but I'd hard suggest the full version of Bloody Stream, and also the song Crazy My Beat, both by Kazusou Oda (Coda)

Joseph is a character you really just need to find out about yourself by watching the show, I'll be happy to gush about how it incredible of a character he is but for now just know he's the guy on the right there, and yeah, the song is quite fitting lol
The story is set in WW2 while Joseph's theme is very futuristic, it really tells how ahead of the time he really is. They did this too for Kars theme. Music in JoJo is just amazing.

If you are interested in Jojo music, there's an obscure one. Theme for the failed movie version in 2006, Voodoo Kingdom. The movie version might be a bust, but Voodoo Kingdom has been the de-facto Dio theme, for like, ever since it came out.
