    Thank you for the video, Really enjoy seeing the countryside and castles. I like to POV from the bike. I do miss my Yamaha DTs, I had so many years ago. Later from Texas .usa.

    I have the 79 DT 250 and you just can’t beat the usable toque of that engine.

Eric

    Hello, what is the towing unit that you have on your car to tow the 250 called?

    Totally customized, not restored as blue paint not correct. It’s yours, do as you like. Nice old bike either way. Awesome terrain to ride/vid. Thanks!

      Hello. Sorry but I can not find totaly exactly the right correct genuine blue color. But I am very close. I find a NOS unused fuel tank in this Blue Dust color, Yamaha reference number G2. My bike is very lightly a little bit more luminous that the original, but my new tank and the paint I used as a model are 44 years old and probably a little bit vanished. This bike was also sold in a Geneva Green color, a dark metallic green, in Europe. I am in love with the Virginia Gold US color and will paint a set of parts in this color one of these days. Happy new year.

    Salut M'sieur! Juste une question, certaine de ces DT 250 sont notées "Yamaha trail" , d'autres sont notées "enduro". C'est une question de version ou de pays? Je suis allé chercher la mienne hier, vidange et décollage de l'embrayage, et ça ronronne, c'est génial! 😁

      Salut. Sur tout les trails Yam en général, il y avait marqué "enduro" aux USA et "Yamaha trail" en France et en Europe (et au Japon) … il me semble.

    Would a early 74 dt250 450-00088 bike have a 7500 redline and 3 idiot light neutral/ turning signal/ hi beam tachometer? I have one that has that and I am wondering has it been replaced or original???

    • @micoumeekoo
      @micoumeekoo  Před 5 lety

      Hello. Your tacho is certainly a 125/175 one. The 250 had a 7000 rpm red line and only 2 idiot lights : turn signal and high beam.

      Micou Meekoo thank you. I thought it was not original to that bike. I hate having to fix others hack jobs.
