These rats would soon be crying when stuff they want is not on the shelfs plus Police should take this theft more seriously 😡
Big Doug in the warehouse 😂
I always leave fuel cap unlocked. If they want your diesel they'll take it and at least there's no damage to the truck.
This is my favorite job, so👍💯
Very good video yes cen take longer time video
I have done my fair share of tramping. Employers expect you to be driver and security. Even the slightest noise wakes you up, then you have a restless night, and have to do a full day the next day. Very unhealthy lifestyle. Companies just don't want to pay for secure (there's a joke) parking ad you have to use laybys on a busy dual carriageway.
I don’t believe for one minute it’s written in to any employees contract that they are to be held responsible for the security of the vehicle wile they are resting. What can anyone do about it? If they want it they will take it no matter what precautions are taken. As for the services or secure parking no such thing exists. It’s the world we live in I’m afraid. You can’t hold the company responsible for some scum bag stealing fuel.
That’s why you shouldn’t lock you fuel cap. Best they take 200ltr now you have a call out plus damage easily £800 bill. I tell all my drivers to leave their caps unlocked. Shit world we live in now my friend where you actually think this is part of owning trucks now. 🤷♂️🤦🏻♂️
I love your videos 🎉
Cheers mate.
That happened to me, how on any planet is it a good idea from any truck manufacturer to put a thing on top of the fuel tank that can just be twisted off to then expose the fuel, what’s more is they put a lockable cap on it ? Why ? Why put a lockable cap on when you can just twist something 2 inches away to get at the fuel ? Pathetic
Think this happened to another trucker on CZcams “same area “ you parked. shame Aldi wouldn’t allow you to park in their yard ! That’s too easy 😊
i know exactly what road that is and it always getting hit with people stealing fuel
I did a drop at that aldi last week and nearly parked around the area you did. First glance i chose not to.
Ive got a App called InTruck and it tells you all the truck parking up and down the country. I ended up staying in a brilliant truckstop called the Stockyard. About 10/15mile down road from Aldi RDC.
I love the Stockyard. Love the carvery there ❤️
It’s disgraceful
I know man 😪
Great video mate can I ask how long you been driving lorry
10 months pal
Why are the police not patroling around these areas late night and early hours they know what's going on they don't care about drivers the job is unsafe they don't take fuel and load theft seriously they could catch lots red handed
It's absolutely remarkable you didn't use any punctuation other than an apostrophe in your comment.
As for your question/comment/statement (punctuation would have helped a great deal), the police are under staffed, operating with less than 66.6% of its annual budget from 12 years ago and so they prioritise calls. Meaning drunk man beating his wife up takes priority over theft of fuel. That's common sense to most of us who use punctuation.
@@JollyRogerTheDodger blah blah unjolly wodger there's plenty of bobby's from the sound of it your one of them start doing a bit of patroling instead of hanging around McDonald's
@@JollyRogerTheDodger Hi Mr officer. With respect that is utter bollocks and you know it. The police prioritise the incorrect types of crimes in this country and have done for some time. Even with evidence they sometimes dont take action or pass it onto the CPS. 🐖
im from wales
Any chance you were parked in Doncaster ?
Yes I was 😅
Anywhere in south yorkshire is an awful place for diesel theft. Stay safe 👍🏼
Do they accept indian heavy license (truck license) in uk?
