Prince William snubs Queen Camilla during heartfelt speech to father King Charles

- Prince William has appeared to snub Queen Camilla during a heartfelt address honouring his father King Charles III after the coronation concert on Sunday.
Reports had earlier claimed Prince William was to give a heartfelt show of support for both Charles and Camilla.
During his speech, the prince praised his father's accomplishments in campaigning for the environment and creating the Prince's Trust Awards - which has helped over a million disadvantaged young people.
The heir to the British throne referred to his late grandmother's declaration of hope for the future during her own coronation and said he knew she was fondly keeping an eye on them.
“As my grandmother said, when she was crowned, coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future,” William said.
“And I know she's up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. And she would be a very proud mother.”
He did not snub Camilla...this was about the King, his father. He did greet them both when he first began speaking, and his speech was wonderful.

@Rose Hiver Yes. He has the common sense to know that his Father is the hereditary heir to the throne and thus the speech would have focused on his Father. His Father, as the rightful heir and new King, pledged service. Diana was not an heir to the throne.

Charles had a difficult time growing up. His mother was too busy with her regal duties and Prince Philip treated Charles abominably as his own drunken father treated him.
Charles desperately needs a soulmate like Camilla who loves him and supports him and is comfortable being there for him. Diana had her own needs from her difficult childhood and needed the admiration of others. They were wonderful people in their own right but not a very well matched couple. This was a forced marriage. Camilla was his first and true love.
Yes and Queen Camilla was delighted whith his speach. There were times when she looked at the King with such tenderness, she is a very caring wife. They are loving couple.

I would say he does deserve some beating after the crappy way he treated Princess Diana. He cheated on her with Viper Camilla, left her alone the very day Harry was born to go play sports and hang out with his mistress. Even made distasteful comments about Harry's ginger hair when he was born. He's not a great guy and I don't know why everyone loves to forget what a terrible father he was to them.
