    Excellent set up man! Glad to know there are others out there that have a neatness problem! Very clean and organized, just the way I eventually will have mine. How are the New Age cabinets holding up. I'm looking for metal wall cabinets and was New Age was in the mix. Thanks!

    I like the white box behind the bamboo worktop. Since the cabinets aren't flush against the wall, doing what you did closes the gap on the back side between the worktop and the wall. Did you build that or find something already the size you needed?

    Looks like you have a concrete trim at the bottom. What did you use for spacing behind the upper cabinets and how did you trim out the sides? Your finished project looks very nice.

      Micala Dunn thanks for the kind words about the set up. The concrete at the bottom is the foundation for the garage. We used 2x4s to pack out the space behind the upper cabinets and then used a plastic composite trim board to make up the space between the wall and the cabinets.

    This is awesome, I've been looking for something like this for my basement. I'm getting into CAR Audio DIY projects and started a CZcams channel and currently do all my stuff outside in my backyard from pre wiring amplifier racks to using a router table. This would be great for those wiring projects and to store my router bits properly etc. Is it really 11 feet long?

    Isn't there supposed to be a metal trim piece to put in front of the lights so they deflect the light towards the back wall and not in your eyes?

    Thanks for the video, I’m looking at getting this exact same setup from NewAge. Quick question, are the drawers in the tool box ball bearing by any chance?

    How are the drawers? Do they open smooth and close softly? Not quite able to tel in your video.

    Looking to buy the exact same setup. Where are the lights plugged in. Do I need an outlet behind the cabinets? I don't want to see the cord if possible.

    • @TheFrost7092
      @TheFrost7092  Před 4 lety +1

      luv2machine the lights plug into each other to make a chain, then plug into a wall outlet behind the cabinets so you must have a wall outlet near by. The cord is pretty long though.

    What are the blue plastic bins that you used for your detailing stuff?

    • @TheFrost7092
      @TheFrost7092  Před 4 lety

      Tactical Trumpet they are just old cheap bins that lock together not sure where you can get them we have had them for years.

    I have the same Newage setup. I can't put it flush to the wall. Did you just put a wood frame to fill in that void on the back wall?

    • @TheFrost7092
      @TheFrost7092  Před 4 lety +2

      Terry Smith yes we packed out the back with 2x4 boards and then put a trim piece on the outside so it looks cleaner

      @@TheFrost7092 Ha yes, I paid $2000 cdn delivered from Costco. I got a quote from ProSlat it was $5000 and another company was $13000!! Insane. I think the proslat would be more comparable to the pro series(larger and heavier) but it's just a cabinet... I may steal your frame idea, but I am using peg board behind the bench I was going to bump out the pegboard the 4-inches ... find out soon it shipped yesterday!
