all those year trying to find magic indicator and pattern or some dope strategy. After experience, to me trading is all about a game of probability with discipline.
It is that simple!
If you're buying place your order when the price of the market is very low so that you have 70% of chances to take profit. Do the opposite when you're selling. That's what I understood recently and started winning 70% of my trades.

The psychology play is a continuous thing sir.
We are emotional creatures and market movement is so erratic that it wont stop messing with your mind.
You keep going, getting used to it. Until you don't need a reminder because you are now unconsciously conscious.

I've been trading on and off for close to 8 years. I can't keep it together for long with out over trading and blowing up. I've been told that I don't want it bad enough or I would do what I do. I think if you can accept a loss with out feeling you have to make it back right then, that could be a small part of beating the horrible habit of over trading and spiraling out of control and losing it all and blowing the account. I wish I could be happy with $100 a day and not feel I have to make 1k a day, everyday. I know I need to change. I keep thinking I will hear a speech that will change my inner being. But I've been waiting on it for years now. I hope I can change before it's too late.
when you concur your mistakes it makes you closer to profitability
Maximum 2 trades a day (Depending on your strategy) No compromise. There are days you don't need to trade.

When I figured that out? I went RIGHT BACK to paper trading. I mean I went right back to the beginning of it all and relearned EVERYTHING.
Started looking more at the weekly and day charts. When I did this? The market started looking more like people rather than candles. It also taught me my biggest lesson. MORE PATIENCE!! STOP TRYING TO BE THE ROCK STAR DAY TRADER!!
You do have to Day Trade every trade.
You should see all the monopoly hotels I own now!! I'm going to trade like this for about 2 more months and then get back in the game.
Sometimes it's good to relearn from scratch what you THOUGHT you knew.
