An alteration of cruiser Henri IV with seven 305 mm main battery guns; a post-war incarnation of the ‘Croiseur de Bataille’ concept.
The ship carries the name of the famous Celtic chieftain Brennus (4th century BC). The name was adopted from the name pool of Saint-Louis class cruisers (1940). Oldtimers may recognize the name Brennus; once used to test the addition of Main Battery Reload Booster to Henri IV in years prior, she now makes a return to the game in her own right, featuring a powerful main battery of seven 305mm guns. High AP penetration and excellent ballistics, combined with her good reload time and high speed, will make Brennus a fearsome opponent at long range. Ship has access to improved Engine Boost and Repair Party consumables on separate slots. In a pinch, six torpedoes per side may also present a deterrent to enemy ships at close range. However, Brennus has slow turret rotation, a low number of barrels that impair her salvo weight, and poor armor.
In battle, Brennus will truly shine with a savvy captain at the helm, utilizing her high speed to take unexpected positions and punish the broadsides of enemy ships with her excellent AP shells. Skillful dodging may also be required; enemy battleships will present a significant threat due to her poor armor.

Ran into one of these the yesterday, obviously a tester, VERY strong. Very hard hitting AP and when angled, that spaced armor is very hard to pen. Looks like a significantly better ship that Carnot.

@@tahiribnmohammad5410 I have had some amazing games in the Carnot, I have triple citadelled a Sov Soyuz Carnot has a slow reload but she is fast and very good health and not bad armour.

To those who don't know Brennus was the name of a ancient Gaul who defended and defeated the invading Romans back in around 325BC.

Brennus looks like a very strong ship indeed, even if those are the testing specs. If I were still playing the game, or if I happen to return to it, I'd def go for the Brennus! Poor Carnot, though. xD

Without speedboost she just looks like a worse Yoshino. Am I wrong?
Edit: Apparently I missed that this ship has cruiser dispersion. Not BC, regular cruiser disp. That makes her interesting.

It's very difficult for me to comment because the ship is still in testing and comments about performance are still covered by NDA. All I can disclose is the visible stats right now at the moment

Hmm the bit I dont get is I heard this is a Carnot upgrade yet the Carnot is tier 9 with 10 guns yes a slower reload and also the Carnot has 10k more health without torps though, I would of preferred the Brennus to have had 9 guns with a 15/16 sec reload, we shall see I guess. Nice review brother.

Looks like a carnot . Or henri I jist wish it had similar turrets instead of 2 duals and 1 triple. Maybe all duals or 3 triples looks better
