In this video I react to an excellent performance (and cover) of the Bonnie Tyler song Total Eclipse of the Heart. This is from the Swedish television show Så ska det låta and performed by Per Andersson and Måns Zelmerlöw.

Måns Zelmerlöw is a singer and occasional TV host. He has both won and hosted the Eurovision Song Contest. Per Andersson is an actor and comedian. He is part of the comedy group Grotesco, as you probably know.
And he lives in London with his English wife and at least one child!

It's a musical quiz show, where you mostly make your guesses by singing songs. So the quests are usually famous singers, but they also add some comedians. The host and the two pianists are always there in each episode, but the pianists are flanked by different guests each episode.
In this segment, parts of the lyrics to a song is hiding behind the 5 boxes and you have to guess which song it is. You pick a number and a word is revealed. If you sing a song (or part of a song) that has that word in the lyrics, you get to continue picking numbers to reveal more of the lyrics.
Another one with the same people is "Vartannat ord-duett: Måns Zelmerlöw och Per Andersson". They take turns signing each other word in a song. Legendary stuff! :D

The Show is called Så ska det låta. Translated it would be called "the way it should sound" it's a Music themed quizshow and family entertainment in general. They invited Swedish artists, actors and media personalitys in general to the show. Every week two teams of two people accompanied by a pianist compeded in different segments through the night all involving music and often a lot of singing. Like so many different Swedish shoes it had different host through out the years and som smaller differences to the set and some rules and so on. The Show was cancelled a few years ago.
That was the first time they did something together. Now they have a Christmas show together and they are really good friends. Måns started in the Swedish Idol and he has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. From this show they also sing Wannabe by spice girls that is fun.
The show is about finding the right words, that are words of a song. And if the background is blue they will sing on the word they get up, in this case MY. If they find a song including that word they choose a new number. If it is a red background the other team start guessing on the same song. If you find the right song you get a point.
Now he thought they did an amazing job and got all that energy, all that power, all that entertainment for a two letter word, so he gave them a point anyway.
The thing they talked about was that, and when Per said Old Spice he was talking about the host.
His name is Peter Settman and he is a comedian as well.
Old spice is from the clip when they sing Wannabe earlier in this show, because Per is lifting Peter the same way he was now lifting Måns, and that's what he is saying here "You are not as heavy as old spice". And of course the name si because they sang a spice girls song earlier. Check out that clip as well.

Same!! It took me a moment to realize that he got the Å correctly, but when it hit me I was pleasantly surprised!
I see a lot people here has forgotten to let you know that the show's name is a bit of a play on Swedish words as "Så ska det låta" in more everyday speech would translate to "That's the spirit", but as the more literal translation is "That's how it's supposed to sound", it also works great for a music themed quiz show ☺️😉
Måns Zelmerlöw is a singer and Per Andersson is a comedian.
The women on both ends in the other team are singers too, the
brunette is Jessica Andersson and the blonde on the other end is Sanna Nielsen.
Per Andersson and Jessica Andersson are not related even though they have the same last name.
Andersson is one of the most common last names in Sweden.

Så ska det låta is a game show where the teams take turn to choose a number that has a word behind it, if they can sing a song that contains that word they get points. All the words behind the numbers together form a phrase from a song, and the first team to sing the correct song wins the round :)

Robert Gustafsson has been a guest on this show multiple times as well and he has some musical chops!
It is a game show where two teams with a piano each are to guess which specific song they are asking for. So the two pianos and two guests on each team performing against each other. I am sure Per did that same gibberish song from The Trial at the just for extra laughs.
Robert Gustafsson is also a great singer beyond being the funniest man in Sweden, he's participated in Så ska det låta ("That's how it's supposed to sound like"). It is a TV music competition with some humor
The host's name is Peter Settman and has made some comedy TV series. The most famous series is called "Ronny and Ragge". The also made a lot of popular songs with basis from the series.
Its a musical oriented show with points given for recalling lyrics and or finding lyrics from given pics :)
I am pretty certain that Per Andersson was a contender in our swedish Idol, and he got into the top 100, but refused to shave of his mustache and got eliminated?
To translate what was said a bit:
In the beginning, the pianist says that they'll show them something that's never happened on Så ska det låta before.
When the song is done and Per does his little dance routine with the different song, he comes back saying, "Few people know how that song (Total Eclipse of the Heart) truly ends, with all the extra."
After that, the host calls back to what the pianist said before, that they would show them something that's never been seen before. He says something along the lines of, "When you said that, I thought well, well, well... But no one truly has seen anything like this before. How powerful, what emotions you convey!"
They eventually get a bonus point. Usually they'd have to guess the phrase (from a song) that's hidden behind the panels in the back, but the host was so impressed with their performance that they got a point despite their guess being wrong.
Så ska det låta is a program that was inspired by the Irish program The Lyrics Board.
Sadly I can't find any lyrics for, but it's a sort of a signature number fo Per. It called "Kuk I Hatt", translates to "Cock In Hat". And as you can see a big crowd doesn't bother Per.
The program has been on Swedish television for so many years. It’s sort of a musical competition, or game between the two teams, pianists are the same and they have different guests every new week. 😊

(Even if it was without subtitles - sorry about that, I couldn't find any with) It's a musical game show where both singers, comedians and other tv personalties compete. Usually they get points by solving different musical themed puzzles, but if they put on a good performance thet might get extra points. Per and Måns (who won Eurovision in 2015) became a magical duo in this gameshow and has since made several live stage comedic musical performances together.
What Per said at the end was that Måns weighed more than Old Spice, a reference to a Spice Girls joke he made earlier in the show where he named the host Old Spice.

Technically, it’s closer to ”So shall it sound”, but that particular translation is much more formal than the Swedish name.
Its this one probably need to be swedish to understand, but Per is a comedian and Mäns is a singer, the woman between them is a multi music artiste! And they kinda compete with the other team, to guess what the hosts questions!
Before this show came to Sweden I saw the same show in the early ninetys in UK.

It's entertaining and a competition. They shall guess the song by the words it can be the title or just a sentence in the song. Måns Semmelröv, I mean Zelmerlöv, is a Swedish Singer, although it's only a partial truth, he's a Scanian Singer from Lund.
Måns married a British woman, namely Ciara Janson, who played Nicole Owen in BBC4 Soap Opera Hollyoaks.
And he is the winner of Eurovision 2015, with the song Heroes...
