I think this has to be in my top five of favorite pages. The purple is just ethereal, the stencil looked like feathers on angel wings. Lol I love it.

France, just as you find colouring with the pan pastels relaxing, I find your videos relaxing. You have a wonderful gentleness in your voice and in the way you create that sends me off to a very relaxed place. Thank you.

I loved both versions. Either way they are forms of art that help to frame and create a memory. I love watching your videos and one day I'm hoping I will even be brave enough to attempt it! Thanks for sharing

Such a beautiful page! I especially like how you warmed up, then cooled down the purple during the process. That stamp with your grandma's signature is genius :-) As is the pan pastel background. I've been playing with my winnings, and found that I like the pastel on the modeling paste. Thank you so much for sending them!

Outstanding! So many beautiful techniques. I am not a purple user, but this makes me a convert! I need to invest in some pan pastels, they are so gorgeous. This is one of my favorite journal entries yet. Thank you, Ali

The turquoise at the end totally did it for me, one of my favorite colours & really made the spread. Fab contrast to the purple/violet hues. 2 hours... Woah that's a long time but yr attn to detail is evident on this piece. You are so lucky to own all the products that you do. I don't mind admitting to a touch of "stash" envy...tee hee... Tfs. C :)

Hi, I'm just wondering why you used the heavy gesso at 2:00 when you mixed it with water. Why not use a thinner gesso? Love the page
