Nicholas Lowry's dry humour is great. Amazing poster and it sounds like the actual Sutro Baths would have been out of this world.

@@djquinn11 Think of a hundred people in the same bath, even grosser. People were stupid then. Honestly, I don't want to see that photo a second time, let alone hanging on the wall.

Sutro Baths burned down in 1966. I went there as a young child growing up in San Francisco. It was magical.

The area is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area which stretches' from Fort Funston--just South of San Francisco's Ocean Beach up along the coast toward Baker Beach in San Francisco and past the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin' County "Marin Headlands" location of Fort Cronkite, and up to Muir Beach and Muir Woods and north into Point Reyes. Though I don't think Point Reyes is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, so maybe it ends at the extent of Marin Headlands. Sutro Bath ruins are located just a little North of Ocean Beach in San Francisco; the ruins are open to the public as part of the parkland.
