I've used Induro for about 8 years now and love them. As a commercial and studio shooter starting out in the late 70's I used Gitzo which were big and heavy but were super tough. When I retired from that and started shooting more travel photography I wanted to go light and tried and stuck with Induro. They back up what they sell, they include a well made bag and the tool kit and the build quality is very good. I currently have the CT414 8x with the GH-B2 gimbal head and have no problems with an 800mm lens on it. For shorter lenses I use the CT214 and BH-D2 ball head.

I just bought my induro about a week ago. I love the smooth connections and easily movement of the legs. Also seen a tiny spider crawling on the ladies leg. Lol

Hi Jay and Varina. Thank you for an excellent intro to Induro Tripods! I would love to try the Grand Turismo Travel Tripod with my Fujifilm X-System. Regarding a "travel" tripod, I recently came across a unique and extremely high-quality travel tripod...the FLM "CP26 Travel Tripod". It has super-strong 10x Carbon Fiber legs (26 lb load capacity!) with well-made twist locks, and a ball head that has several unique features that I've not seen in my 35 years of photography using tripods...For example, the "Pan" function permits butter-smooth normal panning, but in addition, adds a 15-degree ratchet function that is fantastic for us landscape/panorama photographers! There is also a "Tilt" knob that locks the ball head so that only one vertical/up/down plane is available. And finally, there is a "lock" function that locks the ball head from panning/turning, so that it can easily be unscrewed and/or mounted solidly. The kit comes with very well-made screw-on metal spikes, and folds up to a compact 15.5" for travel. Quite ingenious and precision design overall, and highly recommended for travel!! Bottom line: This FLM tripod simply exudes Quality. Here's the link to that awesome tripod: www.flmcanada.com. Thanks, and I think you'll find the FLM CP26 Travel Tripod perfect for Panoramic (and all) photography! Regards, Steve

Looks like the Patels made the ad and forgot about this video. They never bothered to answer any of the comments and queries and left their followers and fans wondering which Infuriating with which head should they buy.

"We use Induro CT113 carbon fiber tripods with Induro BHL1 ball heads."
This is a quote from another video which is called "VW9 - How to choose a Tripod"

+Jonathan Smith That is a REALLY light duty setup. I bet the shots here were not that tripod. They had larger cameras on them.

+RD S Well i've just purchased a CT304 (which is awesome) and it has much thicker legs than the ones in the video. So it looks about right to me. Don't forget that they're travelling and need to compromise!?

+RD S i´m looking forward to purchasing the bhd 1 with a good carbon fibre tripod from induro.... has to be light but sturdy... is the bhd1 so light? they say it´ll hold 14 kilograms, that should be enough for even big tele setups, right?
