Solo Backcountry Adventure: Snakes and Coyotes menace my campsite!🐍 Ha Ha Tonka

On Nov 8-9 2023 I hiked the Turkey Pen Hollow Loop at Ha Ha Tonka State Park at Lake of the Ozarks near Camdenton Missouri. It was a very peaceful and fun hike. I did have to clear my campsite of a snake and the coyotes and other woodland creatures did their best to keep me up all night. I hope you enjoy this video.

Thanks for showing us the trail and the campsite. This trail has been on my list as an overnighter. I’ve been to Haha Tonka before, just never camping. It’s a great state park.

It makes a great and fairly easy overnighter. Feels very secluded but in reality just a few miles out of town. Water can be iffy, there is usually a little in the stream near campsite a, but can be a little stagnant if it hasn't rained recently.
