It was great to see the great editing in this battle report, all killer no filler. Loved it
Cheers!
New editor, or editing? I like it!
Edit: Saw the plug for the editor. Kudos! Great job. Definitely lifts the quality of the episode.
Edit Edit: Also realizing that an even bigger improvement is the removal of the superfluous producer commentary/screwups and superchats. This is like watching a PlayOn Tabletop episode but somehow more entertaining without the voiceover. This is probably your best video so far production wise!
Thanks so much for the feedback!
I’m a huge fan of these edited reports. It’s the perfect timing. Longer then 40 minutes and shorter then a 3-4 hour slog. It’s 100% Warhammer
i know this was a special occasion but i really like the 2 hour match format, seems curated and awesome
Appreciate it! We would like to do more like this
Brian rolls more 1's into 1's than anyone I've ever seen.
It's shockingly consistent lol
Really enjoyed this alternative option. The editor did a great job to maintain a lot of the feel of a TTT game whilst also adding some pre-filmed editing splash. I don't think it could replace the live games but is a great swap if you're away or all busy.
While I do appreciate the level of quality and care of the editing (great job!), I would like to point out to those that say that they prefer this kind of batreps that the quid that makes Tabletob Titans stand out is the level of engagement with the community, the live streams, the commentaries, the unforeseen and unplanned moments. There are a lot of channels out there that do pre-recorded and edited batreps, but not many that go live with the energy, care, and production level of TTT.
So yeah, great job, definitely want to see more prerecorded batreps like these, but please don't abandon the live streams as that's where you lot really shine :)
Can not agree more. This edited format is the eye candy. It is missing the soul, the quips, the jokes, the banter, the superchats, errors, corrections. Human interactions. It is pure Warhammer without the people, it can be played by anyone at that point. Yes, sometimes chat derails the game for a long time and sometimes they do mistakes which they do not correct, which matters a lot in the end, but it is part of the charm of "three friends playing the game for fun".
Great feedback and makes total sense! We will still be continuing with live games but are currently interested in these as a supplement
I would love to see more content like this.
The editing was great, the game was full of action and there was still plenty of quality banter!
Appreciate it! We want to keep the feeling of the live games
should have had a counter for "brian Eldar re-rolling a 1"
Right lol
i love the way you guys did this video, much love.
Thank you!
Excellent battle report and very good editing!
Well done guys. It's my personal preference to watch pre-recorded shows as I never get to watch live, and tbh chat can often distract from the game in hand. I do understand you guys need to make a living so I'm not saying all your shows should be like this 😅. It's just that edited shows are much better imo, and often a little short for my liking. You guys got it just right here. I think some other channels may make more work for themselves by editing too far down and losing a lot of the feel of the game and players or hosts but you guys nailed it.
Good job 👍❤
Thanks PH! You totally get the reasons for trying the new format!
Awesome format, thanks!
Our pleasure!
I really enjoyed the stream, I felt like you captured most of the elements that make TT battle reports the best on the net.
So glad to hear that, we didn't want to lose the energy of our live shows
This is the first pre recorded bat rep that I have actually enjoyed. Love the live streams! But would be happy if these were an edition
Yay! That is certainly our goal for these
This is the first time I've ever rooted for Eldar. Yvraine's resurrection is super strong!
She is soooo coool
Love this video, more of these please!
Great fun with a 2h report,
Lets get em to maybe 1.5 or even 1h!
That's our goal for the next one!
Great editing! Love music! 40k in 40 min is a cool format to go
Loving the editing !
Thanks Trezan!
I love this format!
Really appreciate the feedback! We'll be sure to keep improving on those cuts
Love the fact that the abbrevation for chaos space marine CMS also means Customer Service Management, I expect the ratings of that customer service is lacking....
Haha I think thats a fair assumption
Love this new format!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the very great game
Thanks buddy!
Enjoyed for sure
yay!
Unless this was before a points change I think the Aeldari list was 10 points over...
Thanks for the heads up!
Missed opportunity, when using soul link, to be like "and now THIS GUY is Alpharius"
Anyway fantastic game, great banter, fun play, love the editing.
haha dang! Missed opportunity
Kudos for trying something new! Wish the audio levels and cuts to close ups weren't so jarring or frequent, really made it difficult to watch. I made it about twenty five minutes in before it became a bit much, even with the great chemistry between Adrian and Brian (per usual). Looking forward to you finding your feet when it comes to the prerecorded stuff!
that terrain is sick
I hardly watched your previous reports with all the banter, always skipped it tbh. This is perfect!
The editing is great, this was a fun match.
Question, since the January dataslate Aeldari have featured in battle reports on this channel five times with four losses and a draw. That is not statistically significant, but what is your guys impression of their power level now that the meta had some time to settle. Seems their tricks can be easily countered by skilled players.
Great question! Aeldari feel like they are in a tough position right now. We try and balance the armies to make for a good game as much as possible, which speaks to the position they are in given those results. Honestly they could use with a codex to completely rethink what they are about
-1 to hit from the D Cannons on unit 12:27
Toughness 9 on serpent 22:54
Thanks for catching those!
Soullink works for all non epic characters. Not limited to the ones you have on the battlefield.
Oh thats fantastic!
Way more my thing than the live reports.
So glad you enjoyed it!
Just pointing out that cultists can’t take autoguns anymore, so they wouldn’t have gotten 40 shots on the spiders, only 20 with autopistols.
just started the vid, but already have a question: what models did you use for the cultists?
These are the ooold cultists, you can probably find them still on ebay
Love the editing, pls more. And Harlequins!!
OMG YES Harlequins!
I havnt actually played vs aeldar before are those prints/alternate models? If so anyone know who does the files?
Soul Link is the coolest enhancement in the book ngl
Its soooo sick
Why was the death jester auto changing one of the hit rolls to a 6? Looking to play with one but I don't see what's causing that ability
Thanks for the question! it's the Fate's messenger enhancement
Thank you whomever gifted me the membership
Yay!
2:55 Are you sure that you can Soul Link the Dark Apostle for the +1 to wound in melee? What I mean is that this ability from the Dark Apostle require to lead a unit (which the Chaos Lord obviously does) and contains a Dark Apostle model. As Soul Link copies only abilities and not keywords or the name of the model, for me it doesn't work, unfortunately 😥
Exactlyyyy
great board, Adrian hands off no moving stuff
haha right
Feel like we havnt seen Bridger in ages, is he good?
Oh yeah Bridger is totally good, I think he has been on more members videos of late
I don’t think the music interludes add to your product…I like that your reports are in real time.
That hellbrute is beautiful
Thanks! It's from Miniwargaming's Ravaged Star
in the first round, the chaos lord used Soul Link on the Apostle. Judging by the rules, they swap datasheets. The original apostle should use the lord’s abilities and weapons and not cast spells on the rangers 🤔
I thought that was how it worked originally but its just the abilities on the datasheet not the profiles, would be cool though
Also the way Dark Apostles ability reads. The unit must contain a “Dark Apostle” model then it gets the +1 to wound. Soul linking this ability doesn’t grant the lord the name of a Dark Apostle so you only get his other 2 abilities.
Like the non live format
Thanks Paul!
This was one of the best Battle reps you guys have done recently.
Why are you both so bad at rolling those important rolls. Always 1s lmao
bahaha we are THE WORST at rolling
Great video! I love the format without the chat
Glad you enjoy it!
Wave serpent doesn’t get bracketed!
Oh no! I'll let Brian Know
@@TabletopTitanslol, was a fun one to watch, I know it because I recently did the same thing in a game. Dice were rough but I love seeing Eldar. I’ve been loving the farseer skyrunner and warlock skyrunner with 6 windriders using fire and fade. Shroud runners let them hurt anything. Fun block to use
huge improvement on editing
Thanks Kakiz!
This Battle report is similar to Play on tabletop with hardly any interaction from the person how is on the helm deck console & curious as how the New Editor is because i bid not hear the usual voice 's from the other tabletop Titans crew behind the scenes & in joyed the battle music in-between screen shots & can you plz add the link to the music, T, you 👍 , & more of a professional touch , wicked 😈.
Also miss the Meme's of the week 😕 & noticed quite a bit of white lines on the sides flicking a lot that kept happening during this battle report 😮.
Appreciate the feedback! Yeah we know now what caused those flickers and will have them fixed for the next one! I'll see if I can get you names for the music, there were quite a few tracks
I need that shirt Lil B has
It's a classic haha
As much as I enjoyed this report, I have to say that I really like the normal style with the goofing and audience engagement. If I want pure tactical there always Art of War or Play On.
Totally makes sense, appreciate it!
The csm list is only 1950, why leave the 50 points and not bring nurglings?
Love to see Deceptors, my favourite!
Great editing too, flows very nicely.
Couple of rules you missed:
can’t Soul Link abilities from Dark Apostle as his ability requires a Dark Apostle in the unit.
Pick Them Off is shooting phase only.
Something I would like to point out. Hate to be that guy but Soul Link copies the datasheet abilities. The Dark Apostles ability says the unit needs to actually have a dark apostle model in the unit to get +1 to wound. It makes me very sad ;-;
Do you not get the keywords from it?
@@yokogaijinjr.5061 reading soul link you do not
You don't, sadly. It just gives you the psyker keyword.
Also, it isn't once per game. He says this but it isn't on the ability in the codex. Am I missing something?
Oh interesting, I wonder if that's how it works, hmmm I"ll have to check it out
Nice the two hours of padding is all gone so I don't have to spam skip through sections of nothing. Much better than most videos.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I respect your decision to run your channel as you see fit, but unedited banter, especially when Bridger is involved, is great, because it conveys that feel of three people being there for fun, interacting with chat, watching pet pictures or memes of the week. It oozes the "we are friends and we are playing this for fun". The more professional look shifts the feel of the show more towards competitive direction. I was shocked to see two hour bat.rep and now I see that around an hour and twenty minutes of things that makes you - you, people interaction, personality, jokes - were cut out.
No slight to the editor, editing is superb, I just feel that in the process of editing, something "Titan special" was lost.
Makes total sense! We want to capture the fun and joking of the live games as much as possible, and will certainly keep on those in addition!
Phoenix gem rolled a one again. And that is why you never wast 35 points on that worthless artifact.
I'ts incredible how consistent that 1 is...
Are there no other eldar players on the roster? Preferably someone that rolls that many sixes instead of ones?? *keeps watching* Stop rolling ones on the reroll, argh!
More old world please!!!
You got it!
@@TabletopTitans woooo thank you I’m travelling away from home for a year or so and I’m missing all my gaming so you help me scratch that itch! Thank you!
Looooove edited down reports like this.
Oh I don’t actually watch TT for the warhammer games. I watch for the fun, friends-doing-a-podcast nature of the live content. I’m not watching this
I am still watching, because it is still Brian and Adrian, but yes, can not agree more. This edited format sadly lost the unique touch of Titans. The human interactions, the free flow, the banter, the soul. There is a point why I watch them and nobody else. It is because that I do not watch these games for the games only. I watch for three friends playing a game and having a good time. If I wanted high octane no frills games of highly competitive Warhammer, I can go down to my LGS and watch every second table of two dudes solemnly in silence moving their models with pinpoint precision and playing games in two hours flat, no editing needed, the model of efficiency and competitive warhammer. Borring as heck.
Appreciate the feedback! Dont worry we are still focusing on live shows here
You did great with your video recorded
Thank you Guillaum!
Why do you roll random secondaries on first turn? Leviathan rules for tactical says pick the first 2 then random on the draws.
Part 7 If a player did not select two Fixed Mission cards, then they will use Tactical Missions in the coming battle and they should now reshuffle their Secondary Mission deck. At the start of that player's Command phases that player must determine which Secondary Missions cards are active for them by drawing cards from their Secondary Mission deck.
@@pixywings7715 It says put the 2 you picked on the table, then shuffle the rest
7 - Select Secondary Missions
There are two Secondary Mission decks (one for the Attacker, one for the Defender), meaning players can draw the same Secondary Missions. These describe goals that players can achieve to score VP. Each Secondary Mission card will detail
when and how it is achieved, as well as how many VP that player scores for achieving it.
Each player must now choose whether to use Fixed or Tactical Missions during the battle. To do so, each player first takes their respective Secondary Mission deck. If a player wishes to use Fixed Missions, that player secretly selects two Fixed
Mission cards (denoted by the Fixed Mission symbol - see below) from their Secondary Mission deck and places them face down on the battlefield. If a player wishes to use Tactical Missions, they should instead select any two Secondary Mission
cards from their deck that do not have the Fixed Mission symbol and place them face down on the battlefield. Once both players have done so, players reveal their selections.
If a player selects two Fixed Mission cards, those Secondary Mission cards are active in every battle round during the battle, and can be achieved and scored in every battle round. The remainder of their Secondary Mission deck will not be used in
the coming battle and can be placed to one side.
Players’ selected Fixed Mission cards cannot be discarded for any reason.
If a player did not select two Fixed Mission cards, then they will use Tactical Missions in the coming battle and they should now reshuffle their Secondary Mission deck. At the start of each of that player’s Command phases, that player must determine
which Secondary Mission cards are active for them by drawing cards from their Secondary Mission deck, if they have fewer than two active Secondary Mission cards. That player has access to the New Orders Stratagem (see below), and can spend
CP to use it after drawing their Secondary Mission cards if they wish. If a player’s Secondary Mission deck runs out, they cannot generate any additional Secondary Missions during the battle. Each time that player achieves a Secondary Mission,
after scoring the VP described on that card, that Secondary Mission is then discarded.
@@pixywings7715 At no point does it say "return the 2 you picked and are face down on the table to the deck then shuffle it. makes no sense to have you pick 2, then shuffle them back into the deck.

You have 2 cards face down on the table, you pick the first 2. They are doing it wrong.
