BE VERY CAREFUL, when I did it, it went wrong but after that the promotion didn't work, I restarted and it still didn't work, I went back to a previous autosave and I was able to fix it, it's very scary

Gamespot and open-world Zelda have a symbiotic relationship.
The series for BOTW and now TOTK are very awesome to show how many little secrets there are.
It's parasitic, since the game gains nothing from it and people get fed up with the 100000th video with the same title...

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but a minor pointer is that when you use recall and everything goes monochrome, if you take a photo with the purah pad the photo will be monochrome too

Aerocudas actually have 3 sleeping positions, they can also sleep on the ground. There’s one on the hill where the ancient tree stump is if you wanna see it.
You can parry them like Keese and they die in one hit!
ive also seen one in the lanayru promenade
What's so great about this game that 100+ hours into the game, you still sometimes get that "???" message that you found something new, amazing!
Fun fact: if you fuse marbled rock roast to something then complete the fire temple, the rock roast will be gone because all of it disappeared.

That frozen sneakstrike trick must be truly OP when combined with the sneakstrike bonus of an Eightfold Blade.
I am pretty sure you only need a Pristine Eightfold Blade fused to a Silver Lynel Saber Horn to insta-ko any sneak-strikable enemy. Thus freezing an enemy is not necessary for late game.
However, it does look sick, and it's probably super useful early/mid game.
@@jackjoubertdagama8077You'd need at least a +5 attack modifier to reach 1200 for a Silver Boss Bokoblin or Captain Construct IV, but otherwise that checks out.
Not that it matters because regardless it one-shots silver boss bokos (which have the highest health of any enemy that can be sneakstriked)

Hello,
I have a tip that you could include in your videos, it is an extremely quick Revalis gale type move that gives you some hight easily and quickly.
Get a fire sword, charge spin attack, open item menu, and drop one or two spicy peppers depending on the hight you want, and unpause, the spin attack will go off lighting the peppers and creating an updraft, good for quick bullet time or quick reaching tall places.

The very concept of OOT Phantom Ganon was immensely good and unique. I just don't know how they dreamed up a phantom coming out of a creepy painting.
probably by following the mile long folklore trail of haunted paintings that existed for centuries prior tbh
Ocarina of Time started with a design centered on Ganon’s castle as a Mario 64-style hub-world like Peach’s castle with the paintings. Thankfully that shifted to Hyrule Field etc, but a few ideas were kept in and led to that Phantom battle.
if you use sidon's shield you can shot bomb arrows anywhere and they'll explode normally
I just noticed that when you shot a dragon, the horns stop glowing, letting you know you can't get another item until later.
7:35 You don't even have to waste materials for this trick. Just take your Dubious or Rock-Hard Food to an NPC called Moza and she will turn it into edible food. She's located at the bottom of the Rikoka Hills Well in the south side of the Lanayru Wetlands.
"Edible" being in quotes. She turned my Dubious food that healed a quarter heart into a Monster Cake that healed a quarter heart. Pretty lucky, right?
I recently found out wing shields aren't only used for bullet-time jumps, if you equip them when skydiving, they act similar to the glide armor and increase you diving movement.
To clarify, a normal beam emitter is limited to 12 damage per second while pulse lasers can bypass this limitation by rapidly turning on and off. The damage will be multiplied depending on how many times a beam emitter can pulse per second (e.g 12 x 1.3 pps = 15.6). The assemby consists of an aiming head and an angled trigger/pulsing head, in which the beam emitter is connected to the tirgger/pulsing head.
The setup used in this video is known as the Tako angle (nicknamed after youtuber ikaretakosuke who made a video using this arrangement) has a pulse rate, depending on frame rate, ranging around 1.1 pps-1.3 pps. Small-angle pulsers, angled around 11°-17°, will have a pulse rate around 1.3 pps-1.9 pps. Bee pulsers, that use courser bees fired at a specific position behind a 45° pulser, have a rapid fire pulse rate around 2 pps - 4 pps.
In addition cannons can be pulsed, if the trigger/pulsing head is angled around 2°, which increases their rate-of-fire to 0.9 seconds betweens shots.

This is the fact about the aerocuda sleeping habits and I wanted to say that there are instances when they will sleep on the ground.
I spotted two aerocudas laying in front of the temple of time on the great plateau.

0:44 Awww…wish I had caught onto that pulse effect throughout my first playthrough. I’d often get frustrated with the Keese eyeballs and wonder why sometimes they’d home in on my target and sometimes not.

As usual, fantastic video full of stuff I didn't know about. I'm definitely going to try the camera glitch next time I play, but the recipe glitch to quickly grab items is also genius!
I wouldn't be surprised if 26 isn't even a glitch but expressly the method used to create the trailer shots, and they just left it in the game accidentally or knowing it's trigger method was complex enough most players wouldn't find it on accident.

The camera dolly trick took me a few tries to replicate but it is so cool, def favorite from this round.
Something you probably don't know is that a lake near the zora domain (just follow the river all the way from the domain) on the path you will see three trees, if you dress as a yiga and shoot it with a bow you will get some cool dioluge

Did you know that if you have glitch master sword and you defeat Phantom ganon it will glow even if it is sheathed, it looks pretty cool

That cooking trick is almost as useful as the apple-picking autobuild schematic, and I am definitely gonna try using that dolly zoom trick at the start of my next Tears of the Kingdom stream!!
2:50 id also like to point out that when you do that one stable news quest regarding the cuckoo, wearing the yiga armor as NO affect. i tried it with and without, and the yiga member attacks either way.
2:31 “Discovered by Pjiggles” The Zora Set, Radiant Set and no armor are the only armor Sets that have the number being written out in letters when you do a fashion check with Cece, EX: “One Hundred waterlogged points” I don’t know if this also applies to the other languages

6:29 they can also sleep spread out on the ground. I didn't know this until i passed a monster group in a field at night yesterday, and i was surprised to see and aerocuda just laying there next to the bokoblins

There are three things I've noticed that aren't really secrets but I find amusing: if you listen to the Stable Trotters song for the great fairy you'll hear a horn, flute drum violin... and a guitar. Is Link playing along? Also if you wear the Phantom Gannon armor with the Horriblin mask you'll like a goofy OOT Gannondorf mascot. Finally has anyone ever noticed Sidon has a lifeguard whistle as part of his armor? Why?

For the camera dolly trick, how did you hide the stamina wheel? I know that the Pro HUD hides you hearts and everything else on screen but when sprinting or gliding, the stamina wheel still appears. I'm actually making a trailer with voice over for a school project and chose to do TOTK and finding out about this trick is very useful as it'll help put mine apart from others, since I believe someone else in my class is doing TOTK as well. If anyone knows, it'd be a massive help, thanks.

The other day i went to the battery making place outside Lookout Landing. I was wearing the Dark Link armor and when I talked to the construct, it looked around before coming out. It's kind of a small thing but I thought it was cool

Another thing is how Link holds the master sword compared to other one-handed weapons. When he holds it, the blade is flat, with the sharp edges on the side. With other one-handed weapons, the sharp edges are on the top and bottom.

My 69yo dad and I got 100% game completion, all quests, all koroks, all key items, fully upgraded all armor pieces, all fabrics. Took us 5 months to the day of the game release.

hey! I found a new way to get bullet time right off of the ground! just shield surf jump, drop the shield when it's half way peak, and pull out your bow.
arocudas can also sleep on the ground. and you can also sneak strike them
I don't think this was covered - the title screen changes when you beat the game.
Ohh, so THAT'S what the "SpWing" property on Kite Shields means. I've seen it in datamines, but didn't know about the extended throw range.
