  • What is the fastest way to get from Seoul to Busan?
Express buses are the cheapest, but take 4 hours.
Airfare from Gimpo Airport to Gimhae Airport is also cheaper than the high-speed rail. However, the two airports are located outside the city, and the check-in time is also required, so expect more than 3 hours.
Driving your own car is also not recommended. Even if you suffer from the fatigue of long-distance driving, it is because the driving culture and parking conditions in downtown Busan add to the fatigue.
So, I recommend high-speed trains such as KTX or SRT. It is the most expensive, but it is because you can reach a distance of about 400 km in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
After my trip to Busan, I went to Busan Station to take the SRT to Suseo Station in Seoul. The train station was still busy and excited. There were quite a few things that were different from a few years ago.
Come ride the train to Seoul with me!

The SRT, a high-speed train connecting southern Seoul with Busan and Gwangju, has been running smoothly since its launch last December, company officials said Thursday.
The trains, manufactured by Hyundai Rotem, have been running on the high-speed rail network without mishap for the past two months, with the number of people using Korea's second bullet train line having exceeded the previous estimate.
The train starts at Suseo Station in southern Seoul, where Seoul Metro Line 3 and the Bundang Line intersect.
The biggest beneficiaries of the new service have been residents of southern Seoul and southeastern parts of Gyeonggi Province such as Bundang. Previously, they had to go to either Seoul Station or Yongsan Station, both north of the Han River, to catch the KTX high-speed train, operated by Korail, the state-run railway operator.
With the launch of the SRT, which runs at up to 300 kilometers per hour, they have only to go to nearby Suseo Station, saving both time and cost. SR, which operates the SRT, expects around 44,000 passengers to use Suseo Station daily by 2026.
In January alone, a total of 1.47 million people rode the SRT. Of the 1.47 million, 77.1 percent took the trains running on the Gyeongbu Line between southern Seoul and Busan, while the remaining 22.9 percent headed to Mokpo on the Honam Line.
The SRT train runs on a new train line mostly built underground between Suseo Station and Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, totaling 61.1 kilometers in length. After passing Pyeongtaek, the train will share the KTX train network, which runs to Busan in the southeast and Mokpo in the southwest.
Compared with the KTX route between Seoul Station and Busan Station, the SRT takes eight minutes less to reach Busan from Suseo.
Compared with the KTX running from Yongsan Station to Mokpo Station, the SRT shortens travel time by seven minutes.
On the SRT, it takes 133 minutes to Busan and 127 minutes to Mokpo.
The fare is also around 10 percent cheaper than the KTX.

Sorry, there is no video with that information on my channel.🤔 The most reasonable way to get from Busan to Incheon Airport is to take the KTX, get off at Seoul Station, and take the Airport Railroad to Incheon Airport!😉
