Busan station is a train station in Busan, South Korea. It is the southern terminus of the Gyeongbu Line, the most important railway line in the country, which links Busan with Seoul in just under three hours on the KTX line of Korea's high-speed rail system.It is also an underground station on Busan Metro Line 1 between Jungang and Choryang stations.
경부선, 경부고속선의 종착역으로 서울역을 기점으로 441.7km 지점에 있다. 1905년 1월 1일 서울~초량(草梁) 간 경부선이 처음으로 개통된 뒤 3년 만인 1908년 4월 1일에 부산역에서 업무가 시작되었다.
1953년 부산역전 화재로 역사가 전소되어 중앙동에 임시가설물 역사를 운영하다가 1968년 초량동에 역사를 신축하였다.
현재의 부산역사는 2004년 경부고속철도 개통에 맞추어 다시 증 · 개축되었다.
