Only thing this build is missing is a belt drive system... going sort of this route with my xrt build . cant wait for some warmer weather to show up in my area...Nice rig keep the videos coming...
Can you please let me know why belt drive is better? I have an Xrt ultimate and I need more speed. Not sure what the fastest motor and esc there is for it at the moment
Max 5 with the castle 1100kv is the best of both worlds. Full size 2028 motor, high KV and Hobbywing reliability. I had this combo in my O8S for a while when my XLX2 blew up and it ran fantastic. No cogging on max punch and pretty tall gearing. It would be nice to see a Max 5 G2 with sensored capabilities with a new sensored 800KV and 1100KV motor.

So, I would say the only reason to run a sensored ESC would be for crawling where you actually can make use of that smooth low end control? Not so? If you only bash then it does not really make that big of a difference.... Just my2c, am I wrong?

That motor is insanely bigger than the stock
Cool build. To save you from buying a new receiver try a slash or 1/10 receiver box. Just a thought 🤔
