    Only 3 to 5 turns, but what bitola? What size of nichrome wire? If this is 5V, it means it need get around 10W, and this demands 2 amps, the resistance required is about 2,5 Ohms, otherwise the USB charger's overcharge/short circuit protection gonna turn it off.

      I believe that he used the same nicromo wire that comes in the welding iron 110 or 220 (same thickness, being fine, something around 0,1mm)

      @@marcospaulosouza6262 Well, I've already tried this, the required current on the 110V 40W nichrome wire is about 300 to 400ma, but this on a so small distance, what makes the 5V not enough to get 10W, I've tried put 5 of these wires together But it creates bad contact, and on my case, had break three wires, and didn't worked well, but if it had got well, I'd get 2A at 5V, doing it be a 10W mini soldering iron (this amount of power I only can get from USB power supply ot another powerful power supply), unfortunately on my try I hadn't the proper insulation material, like glass fiber sleeve, or enough kapton tape, I only had a small amount of kapton tape and I had a short circuit, my last 5V 20W works well but I can't use this on a USB once it's 4A =).
