    I too had a rough poker week Lex. Like you said, Aces cracked, two flopped trips, to river flushes, one a six high flush, and a flop straight cracked by a higher straight on the river. But, like you said, down swings and tough beats are part of the game we love.

    In the early hand When you flop the set of 6’s, you raise villain’s nearly full-pot sized flop bet… on the turn you only bet 1000 into 2000??? You’re giving him amazing odds to hit his draws and over cards. Villain only needs to call 1k to win a pot of 4k. What you should do on the turn is bet 120%-150%, with your value hands like sets, and also your bluffs (to get max fold equity). - especially when the turn brings in two flush draws!!

  • @Awre18
    @Awre18 Před rokem +3

    Your sizing on turn with 66 was not right, you need to jam turn, if you were deeper with the double flush draw it would even be and overbet or a 2x pot jam leaving 1/4 pot behind just makes no sense at all

He's not calling river if he miss, you're not folding whether the flush get there or not. I mean it sounds like Lex has been playing systems against recreational players at his seminole hardrock for the past few years. And i definitely think he has gained a lot of experience doing that but i think he might run into trouble if he keeps swapping back and forth from high-ish stakes poker to 5-10 at his local casino? Tonight was not running like shit. It was playing like shit. I forget which set it was, but you bet like half pot after building the pot big. With one card to come, the flush draw is getting too good of a price when you bet half pot with money behind. And they got it all. Had you jammed turn and they called and won, I would have said you ran unlucky. But got it in good.
