    The Little Blue Pot
    Welcome to my CZcams channel where I’m hoping to educate people on the different types of mental disorders to provide an understanding and learn ways to cope. I also vlog about my own experience of living with mental illness, as well as sharing other aspects of my life. I want to raise awareness of mental health problems and mental illness, so I hope my channel helps you and others.
    I am not a qualified mental health expert, but I am an expert in living with mental illness. All my videos are based on lots of research and I do my best to explain everything as clearly as possible and provide examples from my life to help you understand. I might not get it right every time, but I do the best I can. I hope the findings from my research are of benefit to you.
    This Vlog is from my perspective, but I do appreciate that not everyone will have had the same experience as myself - we are all different after all. I have also tried, where applicable, to reference everything correctly, but we are all human and make mistakes - please stick with me.

    Hey lovely. Great video I’m so glad you have had a good week.
    Mental health has stopped me from being so out going like you say I’m not as chatty as I am with people I don’t know.
    My confidence has gone down a lot. I think due to my big weight gain it has made me conscious of my body image.
    My anxiety has got worse in certain situations.

    I sometimes find talking can be so much hard work,I try an avoid it lol.My creative drive is gone,which I really want back,it's important.But to acknowledge what we don't have,what we've lost and what we've gained is a good step to moving forward & up.

    Hi Gem, really pleased to hear you had a good week and great video:-) We have certainly seen your spark in your videos at times so it is good to know that it hasn't completely gone out. I hope over time it will get stronger again and your confidence will return. I don't feel changes to the degree which you have set out but I'm sure everyone recognises these changes to an extent in their lives. I certainly recognise that my self confidence and motivation can be cyclical; at times high but at other times low and making life more challenging. I mentioned previously that New Year was always a time of positivity and renewal which usually makes it easy for me to make changes like starting to exercise and dieting. However, this year it hasn't really happened. I am plugging away at a diet; I certainly am not eating as much as the back end of last year and the whole family has gone "flexitarian". However, I've only manged to get my act together a couple of times so far this month to exercise whereas by this time last year I had already built up a solid routine. I will continue to try and build these routines and hopefully get there in the end. I hope you have another positive week (or because I am so late posting, have had:-). All the Best. Simon

      Hi Simon, I've had a good week thanks, I hope yours has been good too. It's hard not to put pressure on ourselves in January to go on diets or get fit so be kind to yourself dude. It sounds like you have made a good start going flexitarian. I've been vegetarian for 10 years and I would never go back. Have a good week. Sending hugs x

    Hi Gem, such a brilliant video 😊 thanks for being so honest with the video, I have times where I feel like I’m a failure and doubt myself as well, and they are times when I feel lonely 😞, I have great friends and family but at times I still feel lonely, loneliness is a horrible feeling, have a lovely! week 😊 x
