Europeans perform Acid Rain, from their 'Recurring Dreams' album on French TV show Midi Public in January 1985. Featuring Colin Woore, Ferg Harper, Geoff Dugmore & Steve Hogarth
Didn`t know H before he joined Marillion but he definetely was the best thing that could happen to the band! How we live released a superb album as well! Don`t miss that!
I don't know if Europeans was his first experience in a band, or was How We Live, but I know that Steve Hogarth in Marillion was a big bless for the band and the fans!
You're right. I missed their gigs in Basel at Totentanz and Atlantis-clubs unfortunately. They were so talented, so it sound really unbelievable that there wasn't enough success to continue as a band. One of the best 80ies band for me.
I got the free freebie single from a local record shop that closed a few years ago, its scratched to bits, but wouldn't ever get rid of it, its fantastic, did you know you can get the album on CD from the Marillion web site and the How Do We Live album on CD as well
In Geneva we had a club where all indie rock bands played. The Europeans came, did a crazy show (1984) and came back (1985) for another burning set ! I think their label tried to promote them here (the TV show was a very bad one : )
Absolutely. I remember a song called "Mary". A bloody masterpiece! But unfortunately I never found any recordings of this group, not even a 4 tracks demo…

It was Europeans. Then after that band ended, Colin Woore and Hogarth formed How we Live
Steve Hogarth has also performed this track during his recent solo 'h-Natural' Live outings.
you are right : definitely under rated band !
Beautiful boy! 💜
Steve Hogarth com seus vocais carregados de feeling desde sempre.

Brilliant song. I 'd previously only heard the song on the Janice Long evening radio show back on the 80s. Thanks for sharing.
wish TV shows were still willing to showcase songs lasting over 5 minutes!
One of my favorate songs of the 80s, its fantatsic.
Decent video and a great song!
Piękne
How do you make a song like this so young...wow

ils ont joué où à Genève? J ai raté ça :( , un poil trop jeune à l'époque pour me déplacer facilement dans la cité de Calvin.
Hey Stepnjak Burg ;) tler, I played in a band named Blaps… Europeans was one of my favorite band, with Palais d'Hiver. I'm serious. Amitiés
@@nickangel6596 hey hey Nick : are you serious ? Palais d'hiver ? Did you see them in concert ?
@@jean-mariecoste5463 Oui au New Morning (extraordinaire) puis au Palladium (démentiel)

He must have had his teeth fixed prior to joining Marillion.
And his ears. :-)
More like he just grew into them, and his hair lol... now we know why!
