My Aunt has Down syndrome and my sister has Down syndrome we are Jewish people and we see Down syndrome has a blessing from God. My Aunt and sister have so much joy and happiness I love them so much. I feel blessed day by day with them. They too have sickness but still so much joy
even though i don’t have downs syndrome but has what doctors call “spina bifida” adult with a disability; this looks like a good video representing the downs syndrome community but personally was a little thrown off by when this guy mentions the fact asking our children about if they want to go somewhere outside their home but mentions oh we can’t go here or there because of peter; that kind of comment throws people with like myself “under the bus” also “insensitive”. i feel very blessed and forever grateful and thankful my parents when i grew up in their home didn’t put limits on me because i’m disabled nor never kept me from exploring outside of my parents house because i’m disabled. those comments this guy to me were very insulting and insensitive; just because there are those of us child or adult age with a disability doesn’t mean we can’t do anything dispite the fact we have a disability, RIDICULOUS!
