Wow. I have been painting for several years. Mostly through tutorials on CZcams, just a couple of other paid classes. This is by far the best example of how to paint grass that I have found. I’m more of a portrait artist and struggle with grass! Thank you for showing these steps and exactly how you’re holding and moving the brushes. So informational. Love your cat. Our fur babies just want to be with us lol 🤗🤗💕

This is one of the best tutorials I've seen!! It's easy to follow, and it helps when there isn't music distracting me from what you're trying to say (not to mention the asmr brush sounds 🤤). Also, my cat is the same way. I love the little fuzzball, but come on, bro!! 😅

I just discovered you on You Tube last night and am very happy with your videos. I have just started with acrylic paint. you show very nice short things how to make something. very useful to know. but I also have to laugh at you, because sometimes everything goes wrong and you just keep going... It's wonderful to see that you also make mistakes but then also show how you solve them. (possibly in a VoiceOver) I will watch all your videos (I started with the shortest) and I will take notes. Then I hope that I will also make something with your tips (I never know what to make... I think I'm too results-oriented, that it should go on the wall)🤭 but for now I'm still busy with your educational and fun videos. Greetings Julia from the Netherlands

Such an informative and helpful video on painting different grasses. When you said you over - did it (specially in the last example) I could see yellow wild flowers in the field 😺 ... On your second example with the fence, though - any suggestions on how to make it where it doesn't look like it's going down a hill ? Could it be the post shadows were too long ? I know this is a video about painting grasses, but, the fence shadows would be a nice "bonus." 👍😉 TYSM for sharing your techniques, ideas, and knowledge with us. Take care. 😺

Can you do a grass for a golf course in the distance and med way and up close? I’m working on a painting and it’s of a drawing of a golf course and I took that and painted on a canvas and trying to figure out how to do the grass for the golf course but don’t know the colors to use or how to look right and not a mess.
this video shows how to do distance.. and if you're struggling with color I suggest using the virtual paint mixer found here: www.goldenpaints.com/mixer click the tab called "image" and you can upload an image and pick a color. The virtual paint mixer will tell you which colors to use to mix that color.
