New video of Uvalde school shooting shows slow police response

- A Texas newspaper has posted a video of United States police and federal agents responding to a deadly shooting in May at an elementary school in the town of Uvalde.
The footage published on Tuesday showed police waiting for more than an hour before breaching a classroom where a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers.
The video, posted by the Austin American-Statesman on its website, showed the 18-year-old gunman, Salvador Ramos, crashing his pickup truck and entering Robb Elementary School carrying a semi-automatic rifle. The sound of gunfire is then heard for more than two minutes.
Police officers are seen arriving minutes later. They take cover at the end of a hallway leading to the two classrooms targeted by the shooter. Another 77 minutes go by before they storm the classrooms and exchange fire with him.

You see crazy videos of police chases and gun fights with random criminals. Yet when it's someone with an assault rifle it's something else entirely. Based on this the people in the US should be able to push for reform. Clearly these assault rifles aren't regular guns. The way the police responded is a clear indication.
The police have no balls to kill the gunman.
Let's see how the gun advocates gonna wriggle out of this one.

I know people are all about self-preservation but these children’s lives were at stake. These children are the hope of our future and our world.

the ban on murdering people with or without any weapon doesnt work at all and people think a ban on guns will stop shootings. nevermind the ban of guns in school zones. you cant just ban your way to safety especially when the people obeying the laws are not the ones shooting up schools.

I know for men that are doing the job protecting their helmet their heart they are family jewels themselves etc. it’s all very important but when you’re in the military and you sit in on the front lines it’s hard to go and hide when you have picked that job for a living. It’s hard to cower along a corner when there are people especially the innocent losing their lives. This is a Battle.
My heart goes out to all of you family members and friends and tribes of the world at this trying time for us all! It’s hard to protect us all from it all. But now it is more important than ever to come together and not let the differences drive us apart. But ban together in love and truth and some kind of sanity in Harmony. These are growing pains and loss of a loved one is always painful. My heart grows out for all involved and the world that has to be hold such atrocities. One day we will all be free from such afflicted misery. I know multiple law-enforcement Sheriff’s and chief of police in the state of Florida and in Georgia and law enforcement in general And many of them even when they retire still carry either openly or concealed and always keep their back to the wall and their eyes upon all things.

As I witnessed the video of the shooter throw his gear over a fence line to get into the area where the children were supposed to be kept safely I couldn’t help but think that if he would have met a bunch of guardian shepherd dogs he may have thought twice and or fired off right then and there giving The school a heads up and the chance to really lock down. The schools nowadays should always be secured at the gates. The driveway should have a check guard. The way he came into that place slinging it sideways racing at breakneck speed is not to be an acceptable practice nor is bringing your weapons from the scene of the accident towards a school there are two places so far there could have been guards. Then once he gets to the fence he throws his gear over the fence line. There should be dogs right there a whole giant pack of guardian shepherd dogs. And then beyond that should be another fence line. To keep the children safely inside with their safe teachers and in a safe teaching environment.
Shouldn't be police if u scared thus why so many innocent people die to being wrongly shot and killed cause police acting scared
Really sad to see this stuff happening in USA. I think this turned into a mental problem. That's why I refuse to play violent games and rather play peaceful things like Minecraft, what people watch and see turns into their mentality. Sad Stuff. May all of their family be helped by God.
