Senegal's Sonko wants to reassess ties with France

Senegal’s prime minister Ousmane Sonko called for a shift towards a fairer, more mutually beneficial and transparent cooperation with France. He questionned the impact on national sovereignty and strategic autonomy of French military presence in some African states.
