This is the first time I see Chookagian put on a exciting fight
Very close fight could’ve gone either way Ribas deserves to be ranked highly
Really, I seen nothing in ribas to suggest that, came in straight lines, zero head movement, over eager that led to her eating loads of shots. Zero timing, She showed heart I will give her that.

I love Ribas so much but she got to tuck that chin and keep those hands up she get hit too much too clean.
I can't help but think that by making that grunt kind of telegraphs the incoming punch, it gives the opponent that extra split second to react or brace towards the strike.

Really good card tbh,rakic vs jan was fire also,after jans performance at ufc 276 and rakic's last 3 fights,this fight really made em work hard and actually throw shot after shot and be more agressive,something we werent seeing as much from rakic or jan as much as before,other fights were really good also,mostly finishes like grant vs smolka but that was a great fight

seemed amanda's grappling mightve been too much for Kaetlyn, but Katelyn finished the second round with a good last moment change of momentum and warded off takedowns in the third, but amanda brought on the brawling in the third.

who is her striking coach? Her technique is pretty decent but with some of those right hands that she landed clean should be knockouts... if her coach would teach her some kinetic linking a little more I bet that is a 2 round fight if not 1.

It’s all about the official weight. U could weigh in at 135lbs and walk in the octagon as 195lbs for all they care. That why Canelo sometimes will make sure an opponent can’t weigh over a certain Amount going into a fight

Don't know what fight some folks were watching, Ribas was getting her head spun around like "the Exorcist". Getting back up so quickly, mostly negates her takedowns. She tried Hard in 3rd round, but still lost 2- 1 to my eyes.
Lost 2-1 or 3-0… I like Amanda but it didn’t cross my mind at all that she won. That’s a bad scorecard.

Ribas - too much wasted movement, too wide defensively and doesn’t have the highest fight IQ. Would like to see her break away from her dad and get some new coaching. Will help tons.

great decision by the judges. Even though ribas had more takedowns and clinch control she just could not damage chookagian very much at all. Chookagian was much better standing up and landed the way cleaner and harder shots
Could not agree more, although close I believe the cleaner work was done by chookagian. Similar to the Kai Kara France fight recently.. Ribas didn’t do enough with her takedowns.. if Ribas fought the 1st and 2nd like she did in the 3rd then it would of been much closer leaning Ribas’ way. I think there’s an obvious 2-1 here In chookagians favour and I really don’t like her.. But this was the best she’s ever looked for fighting clean and not scrappy
