I stopped watching youtube for a month and I forgot how much I missed these lessons. Good stuff!
I could totally tell you weren't watching. it just FELT different :) Welcome back Bryce!
I love these campfire tutorials! ✌
thanks Nick :)
I love your energy dude we need more people like you making videos!!!
Nice. Yes...A major.🙏🔊 Thanks.
I just started learning this song and I got it
yay!
Enjoyed this lesson. I’m still a beginner and very rough in my transitions, so this will be a fun challenge. Also, I couldn’t help but laugh because this video is one of the most caucasians things I’ve ever seen haha. I’m picturing Dave chappelle doing a white face spoof and using the creators mannerisms lol
I’m also a beginner about to try and learn this song! Any tips or how it went for you would be nice
Trumpet voice for the win
you have no idea how much i practice that...
Great lesson. Thanks Ryan.
cheers RM
holy crap, you gotta sing more often :D (you're are really good, I always thought that you're like me - non-singer - my dearest apologize for underrating you in this), good work buddy .. keep rockin', cheers from Prague
thanks so much sig :) you can hear me sing anytime you want if you head on over to your favorite streaming service and put my name in the search
It's not that hot :D, we'll, unless you're more into some grindcore or technical death-metal stuff ... I love your guitar videos cuz' I'm playing too, and I'm playing mostly for my family, for my wife to sing, she loves it, and for friends when there is some opportunity or garden party ... well, but I cannot sing, maybe some particulars songs. I've been just surprised of you singing because you're not doing that often in your how-to-play vids, and it was really great ..
You are the best, and you make guitar playing so easy and enjoyable! Please do ‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’ by Green Day, please.
thanks for the kindness Grayson :) softball sunday fodder - thanks for the request!
Bro you are the best this is so well explain thanks a lot men

yay!!!
Nice and easy...thanks Ryan. Maybe Bone China by MLB sometime?
whoa long time no talk Mud! Definitely sometime :) it's been too long since we did MLB!
@@RyanLendt I'm still with ya! Distracted sometimes. But here!
I can't understand what you did on the transition from E to C
I strummed E twice, then switched to C and strummed once
Awesome! Subscribed ❤
welcome to the party!
I wish I could sing! It’s very hard to sing and play at the same time, is that a normal issue Ryan? Cheers
Yeah I hear you man, it's tougher than it looks.
indeed, because it's matching up the timing of twice as many things. (left hand, right hand, what note, what word) which makes it quite an enjoyable dance. I suggest starting with a song like free falling, which has syllables mostly on strums. try it!
The first 2 songs I sang while playing guitar were Free Fallin' (as Ryan mentioned to try), and Come As You Are. Free Fallin' was fairly easy. For other songs I wrote all the lyrics down and put slash marks and chord letters over the words marking chord and rhythm changes. The first time it wasn't easy, but it gets easier as you work it out.
mudhungry guitar how do you sing to come as you are? That song i can play forwards and backwards but can not no matter what, play and sing it
Well, I learned the guitar for that really well so I didn't have to think about it at all, then kept listening to the song and noticing what words had chord changes. Oh Lord it's hard to describe. Maybe try something easier. Some song that you really love that's fairly simple.
I actually had this typed up as a suggestion yesterday because it's so simple but deleted it. Great Minds?!
Who am i to turn down a video that takes me 5 minutes to do :P Besides, I'm sure there are plenty of folks out there for whom that was just the perfect pace :) Great minds.
@@RyanLendt Super great for It's simplicity for sure. I recinded the request because I thought it might be a short lesson...but I guess that just means people can rock quicker! So good call.
Also I've always preferred the Am.
some weeks this every day thing is really smooth, and others it's a struggle and my brain is coming out of my ears. I'll take the short ones when I can get em :)
@@RyanLendt Ryan Lendt you've really ramped it up for sure. Maybe it's time to do that "One Note" lesson from PJ in Mansfield 03.
Regardless, you're doing amazing work teaching and entertaining a lot of people. We all owe you a lot of gratitude sir. I look forward to your videos daily, so with more vigor than normal a sincere "Thank You!" For all the hard work.
hehehe i'll put that in my back pocket!
0:36 finger eleven paralyzer
Why does my c sound like em
So this is why you said I gave away your secrets! Hahahaha. It wasn't my intention, Ryan :)
BTW, have you done Undone by Weezer?
Edit: yep, you have! (Note to myself: Take a look before you ask, you lazy ass...)
