It's nice to see this youtuber do something different then the other reviewers of providing the history line up of acqua di gio.. By far I would rank this as one of the best reviews of not just the new cologne but the history that lead up to absolu. 👍

Absolu is great as well as special blend and profumo. The original is meh, kinda average/generic smelling it's basically what everyone imagines when they think of a fresh mens frag.
I have all of them and it is a fact that Essenza is noticed far more than profumo .. Special blend is more concentrated than profumo and better of course. My essenza bottle finished and on retail it is hard to find ..

I sorta wish Essenza was more readily available at the standard retailers. It's all but discontinued in the US. I actually really love Absolu as well. It's nothing unique or new but I love it. It's sweet, fruity and still sorta fits in with the original.
Good comparison video! I must say I'm surprised by Profumo performance on you... For me this is close to beast mode with people catching the Sillage 10 feet away 6 hours after application. That said, I've noticed like with both Sauvage and CDNIM I go anosmic to it and don't smell it myself despite people around me smelling it easily. Maybe you are going anosmic to it too

It projects well in the first hour and after that it becomes a borderline skin scent. I live in a hot and humid climate (28-35 degrees C). Is it just me or does anybody have any tips on how I can get it to last longer? (P/s I have an original non fake, its a real bottle for sure)
Ethan Tan unfortunately no.... it doesn’t last long on my cloths or skin. After about 10 mins on my skin it burns off. And it’s the real deal tester at Dillard’s. Try the edp (Absolu) it’s way better and well rounded
All Acqua Di Gio’s are good..For me I say #1) Essenza #2) Special Blend #3) Profumo #4) Original #5) Absolu..We all will have our personal tastes so decide for yourself,can never go wrong with any of them.
this guy is honest. I have profumo and i only use it very rarely. I bought into the hype of those famous tubers. This is not swiss army knife fragrance as they like to say it. I live in a hot weather country, i won't recommend it. Like what he said yes its too much pepper, and to add its too much insense, it is dark, this is only ideal only for datenight and formal. Right again its also weak, only the opening is nice or fresh then after that, to describe it, imagine barbecue potato chips, too much peppery barbecue powder, don't believe the hype, they are being paid unlike this guy he's real.
Profumo a disappointment?! Crazy talk my man. It's basically the night version of Essenza. Wonder if you got a weak batch because Profumo in my experiences has the same projection and longevity as Essenza. Give it another try.

Essenza is awsome. A Shame it has been descontinued. Profumo is my favorite and lasts +8 hours on me (tropical country high heat!).
