It did at first. I kept the cover on for a few months then put the stock cover back on. Drove it and instantly regretted it. Put the t51r cover on again. The car now has straight cut gears and output shaft so you can hardly hear the turbo whistle from inside the car.
This is a great comparison I’ve been looking for something like this! Just ordered my 6870 with the t51r mod!
Thank you. There are more videos on my channel where you can hear the t51r mod. The stock cover sounds good but it gets boring pretty fast.

@@Unwritten6c I honestly don’t know the bov spring psi. I’d guess 5-7 psi. Wastegate spring psi is 15-20 psi.
What rpm do you hit full boost on this beast?
Around 4500rpm.
