Ive just realised ive heavily unrepresented the time i spent in the og leek skatepark, i will have to make a separate upload with more focus on that period of my life
Mad how long we been uploading for, we basically the OG UK CZcams skaters ahaha. Oldest video from my other channel was 12 years ago in 2011, but even that was a reupload from an old channel from like 2009 or something aha.
@@CheezePieWithChipz We were here before anyone who is popular on this platform. Way before. PewDiePie started in 2013. I started in 2006, the main reason there's so little is because I was so broke and cameras weren't normalized yet. I actually remember going into shops wishing one day to have a 1080p camera in a phone, so I could just ask for a phone and make CZcams videos with one, because I could never have asked for a camera and gotten one. Interestingly, when I moved to leek, I worked a part time job and got emergency taxed for 6 months. When I got my tax rebate, I spent it all on the camcorder I used to shoot all the leek stuff and a really awful desktop pc to edit my videos. I could've used that money for anything else but videography has always spoken to me on this deeper level, where I didn't care about money so long as I could make my videos
You are CZcams OG for sure. Respect Sir. I have been here watching for what, about 6 years now. Always appreciate your honest content. There as been so great moments and some crazy ones. When you lost you BLANK on 5050 grinds is one of my favorite moments because I felt it. Stay Rad. Stay Authentically You. I have been at it just under 6 years. It has been an Adventure for sure. I do any of it right but it is a good time.
Oh 5050s remain one of the more mentally challenging tricks for me. I get so in my head about them still, but I feel embarrassed by that video because the way I deal with my emotions is a lot different, healthier now. I love seeing your adventures pop up. Noseslide shuv is a really cool one. I'm starting to wonder where to go from here honestly. There are some basics I'm still lacking in but I'm starting to lose a little of my steam with the videos. It's tiring enough skating most days, let alone remembering to film and edit it all on the same day (usually) I've been trying to figure out something that would draw in more newcomers, outside of shorts, because the shorts audience seems only interested in shorts and I like making regular videos.
@@GoGoSkate you didn't comment on the video 🤣. I agree on the shorts. I only make a short from clips of a video to hopefully pull people to the main video. It doesn't work. I completely understand getting frustrated, but it was real. That's what I like. I don't think there is a way to pull people in with actual skating. My top videos are setup videos. The data shows if I put a board brand or setup in the title it goes well and for a long period of time. But if I learn FS Boardslide no one really cares. I get most of my views from posting the link to the videos in Facebook groups. In the end at least we have a record of our adventures. Stay Rad Sir.
@@AdventuresInSkateboarding I'll go comment now for the algorithm!! Yeah man I'm here for the FS board! The main positive outcome is having this video log of our skating journey and times in our life!

The grind never ends eh Bradley (I think it's Bradley)
@@GoGoSkate It is indeed, and yeah the grind doesn't stop, unless it's me doing a 50-50 because they don't last very long these days aha
