The Sunlight Cliff 540 is a Fiat Ducato based 5.4 metre Van conversion, this model comes with 140hp and an automatic 9 speed gearbox. The model reviewed did have several packs on it and comes with 16 inch black alloy wheels, an electric step, Thule canopy, 100 litre fresh water tank, a fixed bed and a shower washroom. The Thetford compressor fridge is 84 litres and there is a gas burning hob and small sink in the kitchen area. The Cliff 540 is a great every day vehicle if needed and can be easily parked, making it great for days out.

I have the Sunlight Cliff 600xv (2020 model - v similar to the one shown but 5.99m rather than the 5.4m) - absolutely love it! I did pick up a folding step for about £5 from a camping show to help me climb onto the bed - I’m 5ft 7 - just makes it a bit easier. Also stuck a 1 inch adhesive pad onto the side of the work surface where shower room door touches. I looked around a lot of camper vans before choosing and I really liked the airy feel of the sunlight cliff van plus for a small van the work surface in the ‘kitchen’ is pretty decent too. Took mine up to the Outer Hebrides on a 10 day /1500 mile trip - cheaper ferries for under 6m vans and it was a dream to drive on the Hebridean roads. Great that Cara are offering a 5 year warranty!

Hi Karina and Jules , when you showed us the interior of the tight bathroom , my one concern is , how do you fit the shower head over you , once you have closed the shower curtain ? because .....as I looked at the rail the curtain hooks would slide , there appears to be no break for the head to fit through? ( if you get my drift ) and yes ...I thought it is mega tight for any one of Jules build .

Can confirm the shower room in the slightly bigger 600 I have seems quite a bit bigger and I have showered (successfully😂) in it a couple of times - the shower head fits through the curtain - don’t get me wrong it’s a 6m van - there’s always a compromise but perfectly doable! Would echo Karina’s comment about large water and waste tank for off grid opportunities as well - have used sites but also off grid on many occasions!
@Sharon-bw8zh I think the larger water tank is important..you can soon use water up quickly. I like to shower in the Motorhome 😊👍
This van is called RAM Promaster in North America and its 9 speed transmission never exceed the 7th... I am curious to see if you see the same thing in Europe.

That is interesting about your auto gearbox, I have this 9 speed on my previous motorhome and did get through all the gears but I was doing quite a lot of motorway miles at 70mph. Thank you for watching, yes, Burstner do the Eliseo C644 with a lovely rear lounge and a drop down bed. I know Wildax do several rear lounge but not sure about a drop down bed, you would have to have a look. Auto sleepers and Elddis do several rear lounge but again, I don’t think they have drop down beds. A new to the U.K. manufacturer, Robeta, do an Apollo and you can spec this with rebar lounge and drop down bed. Have a good weekend 😊
