The tunic and cuirass are likely a bit bigger than you'd expect because, if it's a stunt piece ,the performer likely had padding underneath, as well.
I will admit, seeing Adam so excited always puts a smile on my face :-). What a wonderful human being!

cool little thing about Immortals the man who did the music for it was the same person who did, Vikings, Gotham, Pillars of Earth, Castlevania , and the first season of Ironfist. i mean not many care about the music but i'm an audiophile and he does amazing work. his name is Trevor Morris.

That helmet design is a super weird choice. It is pretty much just a 15th century German sallet so it looks really anachronistic, but also a helmet like this one would only make sense when worn with a bevor (basically the bottom half of the helmet) which this doesn't have. As it is it looks like it has a visor that is specifically for protecting your moustache.
Sallets were sometime worn without bevors but sallets for this movie is a really weird choice.
I was thinking that too. The helmet it a 1000 years out of date for a "hoplite" LOL! I always wonder why ANYONE would ever pick another helmet style from the classic Corinthian for hoplites in a film (unless you really need to use another historically correct style), because that helmet style is one of the coolest ever created. It just goes to show how stupid and ignorant many costume designers are.

Came to the comments to make this exact comment. Although bevors were often discarded, depending on situation. It just looks so wrong. Looking at it, my brain just screams SALLET. lol. Also, giggle at "real leather armour". (real leather) armour, fine. real (leather armour) not so fine. :)

ADAM! you've got a new watch. I'm a big fan of watches and am fascinated with the inner workings of a mechanical or automatic watch. I love watching videos of people taking them apart and putting them back together. watches also often come with stories and have history behind them. I was wondering if there was a story of how you got your "old watch" and/or if you've ever takin it apart to see what's inside!

One of the many "hats" I wore at a previous job was shipping & receiving manager/clerk. We reused as much packing material as we could. Most outgoing packages were done with bubble wrap and air-paks.... but there were a couple particular clients that we saved the packing peanuts for. 😈
After looking up the pieces on movie screenshots, you'll definitely need a shield for this as that is a gorgeous piece in that suit of armor...

I find it funny in a ironic way that part of the armor was labled fragile lol
You know, some companies use this as a joke. I've seen on the CEE Australia channel (machine & repair shop for heavy mining equipment) that stock material like a half ton round bar or 300 mm tubes got labeled with "Fragile"... 😂😁😇
If Adam ever did a traveling display of all his armor and space suits I would definitely visit when it came to my state. I mean he has the best toys lol.

Hey Adams My name is Serge Lavigueur, I made back in 2010-11 these helmets, leg armours and bracers, wich you don't have, for immortals... It is not my desing Eiko Oshida was the costume designer... I also made the armours for 300 amongst other film... I am based in Montreal, Cheers!

But, I can’t even imagine not remembering something I’ve purchased, let alone something that arrives in a box THAT big - regardless of the time frames involved between purchase and delivery.......or the implied preferential packaging (if they’d “known” of course).

Judging by all the names Adam found when unboxing the armour, it's likely that this is assembled from several different costumes.

The OCD part of my brain is absolutely screaming watching the mess being created by this unboxing video. The small child part of me is in complete understanding of ‘Kid at Christmas’ Syndrome happening right before our eyes.
We all know the moment the camera was powered down, it was the unfortunate camera person who was tasked with tidying up the mess in Adam’s Crib.
It pains me watching your throw everything on the floor, why not just get a big bin handy and throw it all in there? So much time and effort saved!

The blade looks like it was designed by someone with the intellect of a toddler who was asked to trace around a khopesh sword and did it really really badly.
I wish Adam would stop dropping the exactoblade and just leave the sharp thing just lay there while he is flailing around with stuff.
