You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names. - Zábava
This turn check is probably one of the biggest poker blunders I've ever seen.
He didn’t even think about, instant check
youre wrong
clarkgriswold has to be Goofy trying to salvage his rep in this comments
@@clarkgriswold5818just stop it man. I’ve given you an explanation in another thread. Go read and educate yourself
If he goes all in on the turn and I am pretty sure TARAS will fold instead of gambling and expect a miracle on the river. Goofy tried to slow roll his set. Stupid check
I’d consider letting your opponent see a free river card as pretty.. “Goofy.”
Yeah he should be charging the maximum there - what a bad move
With 2 clubs on the flop and Taras called the raise. That’s pretty easy hand to read and goofy lets Taras see free river. Bad move by goofy.
@@clarkgriswold5818firstly, Taras MIGHT bluff shove if he bricks out - there’s no guarantee. What’s a lot more certain is if he has JJ or 10s, he’ll give value to Goofy maybe till the turn but definitely fold a river bet. If he has AA, he may just give value on all streets.
In all the above scenarios, it only makes sense for Goofy to bet the turn - charge the draw, extract value from AA, QQ, JJ, etc. So it was a pathetic move to check there by Goofy. He wasn’t trying to set any trap - he was scared shitless trying to control the pot.
@@mcd1991 I mentioned almost the same but this Clark Griswold probably is Goofy himself disguising someone else to justify his poor play. He must have bet or shove the turn. He was slow playing a set while the fact that it's so obvious that Tara's has a draw. He was thinking the previous hand maybe where he was bluffed by TARAS and thinking the same that TARAS has nothing with this hand, poor reading he will only take a bite of TARAS shove on the river if he pair the board with a boat. Even a straight will knock him off there. What a waste of his profits, throwing back all his earnings, he is definitely the definition of a dumb fish, keep playing Goofy, you are really representing your name tag here. 😂
Goofy is dumb as an Turtle😵💫
One of the works turn checks ive ever seen....
This is the reason why i keep playing poker at Hugewin Casino.
Gotta love watching Taras on stream
How do you check the turn?!?!?!?!?!!
Thanks. ✌🏻👊🏼
I lost years off my life seeing that turn check
@@clarkgriswold5818 ever heard about protecting your hand?
@@clarkgriswold5818 Everyone knows type of a player like Taras. Taras never gives up easily, calls too wide preflop, calls too wide flop, turn, chases his draws no matter the price. He would most probably fastplay his very good hands here. That turn was made for Goofy to extract as much value as he could
“He checked the turn. That’s what happened.” Lol epic
Goofy misplayed that horribly, not to mention the turn check which was just an outright blunder
@@clarkgriswold5818 And that 95% of the time he should fold to a continuation, the other 5% lf the time he gets cbarged by Goofy to draw to whatever hand he needs to make, in this case there are a whole bunch of straights and flushes out there and Taras is known for overcalling with incorrect pot odds. Furthermore, pocket kings are not the only hands in Goofy's ramge that he would play lile this with, a large part of his range would c bet on a king high flop, so your 95% analysis is just flawed. Goofy did not play well at all.
Indded, he is one Goofy mfker
The MMA music at the end is very satisfying but not HCL level lol tune!
Taras is capable of calling pre flop with a suited gapper like 3 5 of clubs, but the most obvious hand is an Ace high flush draw after he basically tank calls a 30k raise on the flop. Checking back turn means he’s only really putting him on a flush draw or an open ender which in both scenarios got there on the turn and river. So he should be folding when he decided not to charge the flush draws on the turn.
Unless he puts him on a smaller set. Only possible conclusion.
Haha what did he think Taras had 3,5??? Jesus how does he check this turn card!!!!!
Imagine how his stake feels about the turn check!😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
You raise him on the flop, and the check the turn? Lol.
Ryan giving away his entire strategy telling Doug what he would do while Doug just nods “yeah…..yeah”
I don’t think Goofy got the name from his look. Rather it’s from his poker plays.
@@clarkgriswold5818 Goofy is that you?
I’ve been playing poker over 20 years and that turn check was horrendous in this situation.
Goofy living up to his name
how you let him see a river, ws you scared of a 3, 5 straight, really that was the worst play the whole hand
@@clarkgriswold5818 your that guy that always the first to rebuy at friday night poker
And Goofy has Q-10 while gets bluffed by TARAS with Q-5 offsuit. He is a weak player. 😂😂😂. The flop was Q-10.
Obv it was a terrible check , but in this particular case their wasnt an amount he was folding to with that draw
Im not good at poker...but that's a classic goofy move😂
I would’ve avoided everything and fourbet preflop with KK. That turn check was ridiculous, he’s gonna have ptsd
Taras has gotten MUCH better.
Love how he said good thing you didn’t bet turn, buddy you bet turn
What a goofy check back - like wth 🤦♂️
Straight draw, flush draw, possible Ace on the river and dude checks the turn 🤦♂️
Regardless of what the river card was… that was a horrible check on the turn
@@clarkgriswold5818 so you’re saying if Goofy makes the correct play…he wins the hand and doesn’t let his opponent draw out on him on the river for free?
It’s a Dumb turn check, but I don’t think he’s folding there with that combo. That turn check might’ve save him money.
Horrible betting. The Flop raise needed to be much larger, $50k gives any Wheel, Flush draw 1/3 equity, giving him straight odds to hit. Betting $70k will still be called, build the pot when you have top set.
Checking the turn means you don't like money. What, you think foe has 35, as opposed to a flush draw?
If foe is on a club draw, you need to charge on the turn, because unless foe bluffs, you are not getting money on the river.
That hand was like watching people who have never played poker sit down at a table.
With a flush drew out there on the turn. He need to push harder. On the turn. Dude deserve to lose for checking the turn
@@clarkgriswold5818 and that worked out well didn't it?
check turn in this spot , omfg , it was 150k in the pot , thatmust be the biggest fail ever, thats 500bb minus ev , one fkn check
No TAras, TarAs! TarAs! TarAs!
The real question is would Taras call Goofy’s All-In on the turn?
Why check the turn ? You can get value from almost everything
At least his hat helped him; at the poker table of all places.
did he save more money by not betting the turn?
He is very clever when naming himself as Goofy.
WORST check beck in HISTORY
What is Taras’s source of money?
He's from Ukraine so corruption
I would've gone close to 2/3 of the pot on the turn
Why would you check your set? Unbelievable. I hope I get to play him one day.
He'd beat the brakes off you my guy
You have to jam that turn with Goofys hand. charge the max for a draw and get anything else to pay you off. If he has 3 5 the GG.
@@clarkgriswold5818this is a horrendous check back on the turn
Obviously a shove on the turn 😢
Where did this guy make his money?
What a goofy 😂
Still loses a pile even if he hadn't checked turn, probably a bigger pile, but it was still a bad decision.
All in from goofy would've saved him, even if taras would have call, they could have run it for 2 or 3 times,
even though Taras might jam, it's still the most idiot check on turn
ターンのチェック…
Goofy can’t even win with top set that was a GOOFY CHECK ON THE TURN
lol
Goofball checking on the turn like a donk to let Taras see a free card. Instead of betting 100k knowing damn well he's most likely on a draw after he checked to him lol Well deserved 😂
There is no chapel in Texas that will help Goofy with this one.... amen. Say 300 Hail Mary's for forgiveness for not betting the turn.
Goofy should have went All in on turn.
Does Taras have pot odds to call it off?
I like Goofy's hat, is it some sort of cult ? And can I join I'm bored.
I've yet to see Goofy play a good hand. How did this guy get 10k to his name much less 200k?
Y U NO BET THE TURN??? i got triggered so unexpectedly
Goofy being goofy.
Played it bad pre-flop and played it real bad on the turn.
Ryan is confused about poker. He's burning money.
I always watch Goofy loose
Tarras is never folding turn anyway
Why would he be checking the turn.. foolish.
Goofy gambling while wearing that hat… he is one conflicted soul
155k in the pot and check a brick turn you definitely a goofy
Should have bet 50K to 75K on turn man. Tara's would have folded.
if you know anything about taras, you know he wouldn't have
Can these people just give me their money? I would put it to much better use than they do.
goffy please play with me
I don’t think Tara’s would fold any turn bet.
Why check the turn on a wet board and when your opponent call 50K bet on the flop.🤦♂️wtf. Bad, Bad play.😳.
What an awful turn check
That check cost goofy $225k. You might say it was only a $300k pot but if he bet there, he would have won. $75k
I am not sure you fold a combo draw on the turn to any bet. Too much equity.
Goofy played his name well. How to not play kings 😅😂😅.... you can't fix stupid.. bwahahaha 😅😂😅
Please stop your non sense comments!
For all of you commenting so much on that turn let's just say you know exactly what happened in other words called trapping his opponent but got trapped instead and that's just to resume it nicely since there is much more to say about these type of situations. Nobody watching this can state it never happened to them you would be lying!
As Hellmuth said on Hustler recently "He fell for it but he had a set". Bro, that turn was made for him to extract as much value as he could
Goofish
What’s wrong with goofy dude can’t win
How to NOT play pocket kings lol what a noob
whales
Amateurs who play in their garage make better plays than that...
Check turn is called attempt to trap your opponent.
When you do that you know you are obviously taking a risk so yes it didn't work too well but it's also called a play...
@@Peace-fd3tg To much risk and a large portion of his stack was already committed.
I like to check the turn sometimes for trapping too. Unlucky river. Nice tank goofy 💯🥷 Ca$vhille Tennessee get em Buck
