Nice one thank you, On my Roomster whilst the front half on the car is pure Fabia, the back half is different, your videos are always useful though, I had to change a broken coil Spring (and both wishbone bushes - luckily I have the proper tool for the bushes) and your guide to changing the upper strut bearing was invaluable, so thanks again for your commitment to providing these video guides, cheers, Chris

Thanks. I will do a video on the wishbone bushes as these always fail on these at some point. Having the right tool is great to have, but I did mine with a homemade affair, but still worked ;-)

First time I did one of those bushes I tried with a DIY tool but it failed, so splashed out on the tool, cost me £99 many years ago, and having done about 5 or 6 of them it's more than paid for itself 😀

Thank you. Thought this would be complicated due to the housing so have been putting it off but just did mine in twenty seconds.

The spring on my rear wiper has started to scratch the rear window, is there a known reason for this. It doesnt seem to be bent or broken, but rubs right by the wiper arm hinge as it gets to the midway point

Good question, never heard of it. I've had a look at the mechanism and all i can think off is that either to anchor points on the wiper arm and body have broken or deformed to loosen the spring or the spring has rusted and then loosened as a result. the spring hooks around the base and is very close the the glass, but if it is tight it shouldn't touch the glass. Check if there is any rust on the end hooks as that is likely to loosen the spring. Renew the spring and whole arm/body if anchorages are broken/deformed. :-)

Got a whole new arm and wiper, but as soon as i tighten the nut down the spring touches, its like the spindle doesn't come out far enough, so I'm wondering if where the splines are could that be worn so much that it goes too low, the reason I'm thinking this is because the hinged plastic cap doesn't fit flush and is in fact held up slightly by the washer nozzle, I can't imagine there'd be different boot shapes etc

After you activate it is there a pool of water underneath the car? If there is then the pipe connection in the engine bay has come off (common issue) the pipes can also come off by the wheel arch and less so at an inside connection by the C pillar. Hope this helps :-)

I usually check the hoses in the engine bay. There is a T joint that likes to disconnect. And other time I needed to do the same thing in the boot. Take out the lining on the back door and check the hose near the wiper( watch out, if it is disconnected, there can be a puddle of water inside)
