With a hectic Show tour commencing next month at the WA Hotrod & Street Machine spectacular followed by Motorex in July it's going to be a busy 6 - 12 months for the XBOSS team.
This is undoubtedly one of the best built cars in Australia, highlighted by the fact that XBOSS was a Great Eight Finalist for the Ridler Award at the 2016 Detroit Autorama.

ABSOLUTELY AUSTRALIAS MOST AWARD WINNING CAR. EVER. LEGENDARY. Well done to Chris & Crew. Still cherish the signed XBoss Ridler Top 8 shirt I got at the 2018 HTA at Bathurst. And just caught up with Chris at the Hotrod & Custom Car Expo 2022 in Sydney.
What a credit to Chris and Australia! Can't wait to see the car in the flesh!
Wow unbelievable build, Mad Max would shed a tear.
Very clean and tight lines , awesome work . The 3000+ hours really shows.
Absolutely beautiful XB.
Bloody Amazing car. That's a credit to your passion and vision.
I saw this car when it was shown at Autorama in Detroit. IMHO, it should have won the Riddler. Competition in the Great 8 was stiff that year.
I wish I could have seen it while it was here in YankLand, I live 2 states over from Michigan. By far my most favorite show car.
Awesome choice of engine config.
Made the Great 8 ... Amazing job guys ....
Fantastic build, great vid flinty.
Cheers
Such a beautiful car
Lucky enough to witness this masterpiece in shepparton motor museum!
Well done boys
Love it
Seen it in bendigo it's a bloody beatiful car
Be nice to see XBOSS on the big screen in Madmax movie and of cause not to be destroyed .
I'm not a Ford fan like Holden's but that is a nice car
My dad has a Xb coupe, like that but he just needs to do it up.
I think to actually appreciate this car you would have to see it in the flesh!
Aussies were so lucky... at the same time we had the Mustang II here in the states
Sick car, no doubt! But there will be no coupes available in oz soon because of this car....the US have bought them and shipped them all away :(
the best...!!!
Im not a big fan of the smoothed out, shaved etc show cars, but that is a bloody beautiful car.
You don't realise how custom it is till it is beside a standard XB Hardtop.
XBOX IS GOOD BUT LOOKING ON XBOSS IS BETTER
Aussie Aussie Aussie
oi oi oi...
It's an XC.
The rear sidelight is horizontal, XA/B hardtops (Ford Australia doesn't use the term coupe) have a vertical rear sidelight.
The dash is obviously the symmetrical XC version which cannot be fitted to XA/Bs (& vice versa) because of the differences in the metalwork behind the dash.
Sure, the front treatment is XB, but that's all easily interchangeable. In fact, the guards are the same. The little styling piece bolted to the front of the guard is different between XBs & XCs & the XC doesn't have a front valance panel because they have the larger bumper but again.. all just bolt on bits.
yes its a xc i can tell by just the dash
The horizontal sidelights flow with the design better than the vertical ones. And with everything else being as symmetrical as possible, I'm sure Chris preferred the look of the xc dash. This is clearly not a build limited by what does or doesn't bolt on! Major fabrication involved with every aspect of the build carefully considered, so yeah, I'm sure he knows what his car is!
HA!! Just watched another video ( where he drives it at Bathurst) and he calls it a 1976 XC in that one! So yeah, excuse my previous smart arse reply, maybe he doesn't know !!!
But XB grille looks better.
if only you used the gs or gt grill , i wold have given it 10 /10 so i gave you 9.99/10
Hi Watch thr Video on Utube in UK. Bloody Awesome Car. Wish we had Your V8 in Little UK. But I brought a Monaro V8 . Love it Cheers.
The Monaro is certainly a beautiful car..
I appreciate the work, but the XA,B & C Coupes will never look better than they way they were designed originally.
i want the x boss
Sorry. Just sold recently for $850 K.
Holden's are king in Australia
No lmao
@@huh2634 more v8 supercar wins which means, more Bathurst wins more poles positions,,more championships..Aussie name,Aussie pride
@@mmadddog the 'holdens' on racetracks are completely different in every single way to any holden on the road. Your point is irrelevant.
@@huh2634 you're right,..Holden's look and perform better than American brand fords
@@mmadddog they might be better than American fords, but certainly not Australian brand fords that are 100% made in Australia unlike the Holdens that have an American motor
Shitbox ford!!😊😁😂👊
Opel. .💩👎🤡
