I am instrumentation engineer 2017 batch. After completion of degree I started working in automation field ( I have done oq ,pq of blender, RMG ,FBD machine also 21 cfr part 11 with end client. ) now I have 1 yr experience in automation field.since salary package is very less so now I am thinking to switch to pharma sector, I have one question what should I do now shall I switch to pharma or not?

What if part is not as per drawing but still solves intended use (yes we can revise drawing in this case)

Verification precedes validation - this point is not applicable in pharma industry. Instead validation is a periodic practice such as six monthly or yearly while verification is a routine practice. Every material and equipment needs to be verified before start of the activities or process. Validation is not always COMPUTER based, it comprises system validation, process validation, equipment validation etc. Verification is to check the accuracy or correctness of materials or equipments, while validation is to validate the performance of the equipment or process whether it is able to give the output as per specification or not.

Hi Buddy, I am having a different opinion than you. I think there is no ambiguity in the explanation/clarification given by Mr.Aryan. When you are confirming the design or drawing specifications and the 6Ms before or during the manufacturing of a product it is all about the verification. Despite of meeting all the input requirements, a product can fail to meet its final use or application when a consumer/customer buy it. Therefore, validation confirms that the product will meet its intended use or application without any customer dissatisfaction.

That's verification report, rightly said by you, but you said ,customer is asking for validation report.
