Invisible Circles (álbum)
Invisible Circles es el tercer álbum de estudio de la banda holandesa de metal sinfónico, After Forever, salió el 25 de marzo del 2004 bajo el sello discográfico Transmission Records.
Tras la marcha de Mark Jansen (ahora guitarrista de Epica), uno de los principales compositores, el grupo tuvo un fuerte cambio tanto en su música como las letras de las canciones. Aunque con un sonido más progresivo y menos adornado, el disco continuó siendo un muy buen trabajo dentro de la discografía del grupo. Trata sobre la vida de una niña, de como es despreciada e incomprendida por sus padres y su entorno. Una temática bastante original, y fuera de lo normal si lo comparamos con el tipo de letras que se hace en este estilo. Naturalmente, es un álbum conceptual.

@@johnpolitis9060 Sorry man, but it's just your opinion. I'm an old thrash metal drummer since the 80's and I didn't even want to hear the word "Nightwish" in those days. I couldn't stand Tarja's operatic vocals. And when After Forever came out, I didn't find anything big, just a small band. Thirty years passed before I decided to listen to this wonderful band that is Nightwish... I was amazed by Floor and that 2013 show at Wacken was something inexplicably great. I started to idolize Marco, Tuomas and the rest of the band. Nightwish has become a gigantic and cult band around the world, and Floor has a huge responsibility for that. But it's just my opinion.

I had the privilege to see After Forever live in this tour. They came to Argentina in 2005. It was brilliant. I really miss this band, but I was very happy when she joined Nightwish.

In 2004 i saw After Forever 5times in Germany 😊😊. In a little Club (400 people), in big Clubs (2000 people), and on Festivals indoor and outdoor 😊. Best Show was ZILLO Festival 2004😊.
After Forever, and specifically the album "Decipher" was what taught me to enjoy growlies. How can you not anything associated with Floor's voice.
I'm so glad that I got to see them live once before they disbanded.

Listening to this in 2023 and hearing her sing back then and to realize just what we are witnessing today is unbelievable. There are no words to describe her. She is a Queen!!!!!! O disco "Invisible Circles" estava a frente de seu tempo.
Ao analisar as letras do disco fica nítido que tudo aquilo se tornou real. Principalmente a letra de "Digital Deceit", tudo ali é uma verdade do nosso mundo atual do WWW.
Mano, que banda, que lirismo, que instrumental forte. Essa banda não devia ter acabado e todos os integrantes aqui estão excepcionais!

After Forever estava muito além do seu tempo! Era uma das minhas bandas favoritas!
Pra mim, nenhuma banda com vocal feminino passa nem perto do AF. Floor no Nightwish é uma regressão muito grande pra mim. AF era muito mais variado e tinha um clima muito diferente. Gosto de ouvir Withing Temptation mas é um estilo muito diferente. Nem a Floor fez eu migrar para Nightwish!

More over I'm really impressed with the technical quality of this performance as well. These songs are really complex and demanding for all musicians, but it just sounds so well live. And then finally to bring this with such emotion and empathy. What can you say?

The first time i saw them was 2002 SUMMER BREEZE, the last show i saw was 2009 SUMMER BREEZE (with one guitar and George on growls❤). Between this time i visit ca 30 shows😊.

Tristania is amazing. I love Beyond the Veil, World of Glass and Widow's Weeds is my all time favorite gothic metal album.

Eu precisei de um tempo pra digerir um pouco os álbuns que sucederam o Decipher, hoje percebo o quão grandiosos e atuais eles são! Suas letras, melodias... Perfeito!

I bought this album in Paris on a schooltrip. Listened to the "story" (this album was a storyline song after song) over and over again untill we got home. Good memories.

That point where her voice went for 2 seconds sounded REALLY painful. But like a champ she just kept on singing. Plus I dont think 23 year old Floor was taking care of her voice as well as 38 year old Floor is.

@@sonjajankov1361 Yep. Happens to Floor, happens to me, happens to everyone. Usually you fight the reflex to swallow until the song is over, but sometimes there's just too much of the song left to go as saliva builds up and you just can't make it all the way.
Another point to consider is that she had not yet reached her peak as a singer. Top line symphonic metal singers are like opera singers. They don't start to peak until their early 30’s and stay at a peak until their early 50’s. Now think about her legendary performance at the Wacken Concert in August 2013 with Nightwish. Floor was born on February 21st 1981 and the Wacken show was on August 3rd 2015. So she was 32 years 6 months. Just coming into her peak, where she is today.
