I had gone in and ordered an XL in area 51 with front wheel drive and no extras. 3 hours later after being told if anyone's finance fell through I might get an call he called me to pick up an cactus gray XLT fwd and I'm just loving it. Did NOT use the little plastic pop rivets on the front license plate bracket tho. Used sheet metal screws and it ain't moving an bit muhuhuh. Tkxxx for the speaker video, found it!!
I replaced the fronts in my '10 Focus, with some Infinity's even though Crutchfield said it probably wouldn't help much. It was not a "night and day" transformation, but it did brighten up the higher notes, which is exactly what I wanted. The stock units are just kind of flat.
I've got tinitus, hearing loss and am tone deaf so I'll probably never replace the speakers. But, it's nice watching someone rip their new truck apart.

Do you think you could add those little speakers you have left over to the top black plastic piece of the door on the inside of the side mirrors? Its like a triangular piece that pops off and it may assist with a little more treble. I'm thinking of doing that when I get my Mav.

It didn't look too far between the mirror cover and speaker location. Do you think the wiring that came with the speakers would have been sufficient to put the tweeters in that location???

Measurements under seat are maximum 16" front to Back 14" side to side 4" bottom of seat to highest point. Floor under seat is not flat bulge in middle creates a high point.

I see you used 6 3/4 so never mind! I just ordered a pair of the same size so wanted to be sure- I’ve seen someone put in 6 1/2 in so just nervous!
Do yo know the part number for the wiring harness? I'm not seeing the kit option on crutchfield.

Possibly but these door panels are so tightly formed around that area it would be a challenge
