Robbie, please get King Fred into the shop and fix all the things that will make it better than just dependable. Fix the fuel gauge and put the mirrors back on it etc... Do not forget about Whiskers before winter, it will be there long before it gets to us in Central Texas it is 97 degrees before noon here.
Robby, you need to paint Paul's 55 Chevy. I think retro look. back in the day Canary Yellow or Candy Apple Red with Gold flake was the bomb. I sold my 57 Chevy in 1970 for $ 75.00. I sure miss her 64 years later.❤❤😎😇
Hahahaahaaa. I could tell stories about what I "fit" into my 65 F250 back in the day. However I just got a '24 Chev 2500 quad cab 4x4 with a full length bed. I am now a truckly man once again.
I’m 69 yrs old. I’m not sure I’d live long enough to see Robby’s team finish a paint job on the @Fabrats ‘55. Why do I say that? It took 187 episodes to finish Ed’s little Golden Nugget. I don’t think I’d ever hear “Now we’re going to blow, tack and static the ‘55”. 😂. My grandkids would enjoy a Riddler quality finish though. 😎
The work on the Nugget was exceptional. I’ve seen the Nugget at the MORR yard, it’s beyond Riddler quality!! It’s AMAZING!!! And it’s wicked cool to come across someone else who knows about Ridder. (NOT Batman;)
i am hopeing that the Laymo makes its return soon and gets the MUCH needed TLC that it needs. The On X bus is looking pretty awesome. they must be excited to get it. keep up the good work
Hey Guys, those fuel line o-ring thingy, ferrules, are also known as "olives", search "fuel line olives". When you snug the fitting down, the olive seal swells like a compression fitting.
Robby you should have definitely had someone that could do some stitching for you and had the back rests on the chairs for Chad and Stacey’s names stitched!! That would have looked awesome!!!! Just a good idea for sure!!! That would have gave them a little extra touch for them!!!
That Cool Bus is a Beast Bus! With Sean, Colton, Hillbilly, you have a superb team Robby! And a super overseer, the Boss herself! Now, what's the next project going to be?? Just asking for a friend, you know . . . . .
I WISH I LIVED NEAR CHAD, HE APPEARS TO BE THE ALL AROUND GO TO GUY FOR MOST THINGS, PLUS HIM AND HIS FAMILY SEEM VERY NICE, POLTE AND JUST GOOD PEOPLE. TRUTH IS ALL YOU PEOPLE IN UTAH ARE THAT WAY FROM WHAT I SEE!!
Sweet Solar Octane Sequoia! We just put ours on a Dobinsons lift and 37’s. I’m in love with the bus. I just found your channel, not sure how I missed it, looks fun! I’ve got some catching up to do.
Just FYI on any school bus body the screws are removeable at each seam. Pain though is they use seam sealer at each seam. So, your fiah tape idea was definitely the way to go.
Your whole crew is definitely improving on your builds. Shawn is a obvious key to it but your all picking up on his talent. It shows . Robbie Layton most improved. Hands down. Next you'll be on cable and shooting down helicopters with your jet. Lol. Good job.
They make DC powered air conditioners now, that are basically mini splits, that are far more efficient and don't need 110 AC to run air conditioning. I've installed a couple in vintage campers and they are great for solar panel driven systems. Systems that have modern lithium ion phosphate batteries and modern MPPT charge controllers.
Remember wheel alignment, that skew steering is unacceptable.... And clean the dashboard, actually the complete bus once the wiring is done.... Looks great Robbie.
Love watching your videos, been following along on the cool bus from the beginning. But i have been wondering, on the bumper, why are the colors on their emblem backwards? It should be a black background with a white X for trails. Like the hunting one is an orange background with a white X. It does look great tho. You do fantastic work on everything! You really should do a build on king fred, put in about a 350 hp 460, with the right cam to get some serious torque, then definitely a auxiliary 40 gallon fuel tank so you have better range, maybe a six inch lift with 38's and lockers front and rear would be a must. I had a 92 F-250 with a 460 and a 5 speed stick, i pulled a 30' travel trailer and 1st thing was rebuilding that 460. Any way i would love to see a build on it.
What was ESSENTIALLY made here is a SHEET METAL SNOW BOARD! / Desert SAND surf BOARD! Strap / Bolt some bindings on that piece, Get your boots on and GO BOMB some snow or SAND hills!!! A REAL Snowboard has metal EDGES any how so it can BITE and grip into the snow /sand so you can CARVE and make turns.
Oh my God, you said there’s 10 more videos on this damn bus you literally built the coolest burnout car in the world in half the time it took to do the bus
Thanks for the chairs Robby!! They will be well used for many, many years.

As a fabricator myself, I am IMPRESSED on how well that bumper came out, not that I doubted y'all but DAMN that thing looks great.
Chad and his family seem like great people and he does great wiring work
Chad isn't the most exciting guy, but he's a great family man and does extremely clean wiring work with superb attention to detail.
But his vlogs are getting boring.
Not if you knew what I know

You need to paint Paul's 55😂
Back in the day, we could actually put stuff in our pick up truck bed, and it fit without hanging over 4 feet 😎
I remember those days! A man’s truck!
Hahahaahaaa. I could tell stories about what I "fit" into my 65 F250 back in the day. However I just got a '24 Chev 2500 quad cab 4x4 with a full length bed. I am now a truckly man once again.
Like you don’t have enough going on😁 uhhh Paul at Fab rats needs his 55 painted. Oh and I love the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday episodes!!
He can have his other guys do it. Or, he'll milk it for 6 months.
@@mathewfullerton8577The whole deal is to milk each project for lowest cost and most episodes.
Chad's been a busy guy lately!
Thank you Robby and crew for the update on the Cool Bus ! Also taking to Chad to get the wiring done right !

I love seeing other youtuber comradery and helping boost each others business and making the money go round 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
The knowledge you all have is mind blowing!
That bus is going to be so badass! Great job guys!
Steering stabilizers do not help prevent death wobble, they help add pressure to smooth out the steering lock to lock.
Good to see some Aussie designed Redarc electronics installed in the back.
How about painting Fred for your next project?
How about lockers and gears first.
Robby you need to paint fabrats 55
Paint job on Paul's '55, please
The bus needs the real dual tires to not look goofy.
Totally agree. It doesn't look right.

For a guy that's nearly 80 and has never managed to hook up trailer lights, Chad is an inspiration.
Bombi getting good at photo bombing lol
Just as Robbie finish the electric plug on bumper
I got to see the bus at Overland Expo PNW.
Very cool
I got to see the bus this past weekend at Overland Expo PNW! It was super cool to see the bus in person. I appreciate the craftstmanship!
Great job again.
That is an awesome bumper.
The painted schoolbus sign on the back should be changed to coolbus.
Aww, love Chad!
You need a front hitch receiver on that beast! I can't live without one!
Cool video, you need to make a 2nd 1 time only bumper for the Pacer......
That Cool Bus is a Beast Bus! With Sean, Colton, Hillbilly, you have a superb team Robby! And a super overseer, the Boss herself! Now, what's the next project going to be?? Just asking for a friend, you know . . . . .

Hillbilly seems to be a valuable asset to your team ,very knowledgeable!
I hope you will show us the On X bus after it's wrapped and finished! 👍
I'm getting so excited!
I need to compliment the camera operators!
We gotta see Paul's 55 Chevy as the next project 😂
great as always great content very entertaining
In the desert sun, IME, double stick tape will not last.
I used to ride in a big yellow bus as a kid to get to school. Bus #26 it was. Those bumpers are amazing!!

12 or 24 volt. What brand ?
Chad seems like such a cool guy!!
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
Like I think I heard Shawn say, that is a badass bumper.
Bus looks good
YEEEERH SOOO COOOOOL...
GRRREETINGS FROM DENMARK...
okay i think we can all agree that chad is the undisputed goat!
You could go get fabrats 55 Chevy and paint it for them
Remember wheel alignment, that skew steering is unacceptable....

Looks great Robbie.
Good video everyone, thank you
You need to extend the exhaust type out from underneath the bus.Otherwise the fumes will gather on the heat. The bus and somebody's gonna get sick
Whiskers has been on the channel a long time it needs some love before winter
The Robby Layton team should consider themselves pretty lucky for all the Xspurt advice that they receive in the comments.
Do your friend a favor and work your magic on Paul's 55 chev. That's what friends are for.
Time to give King Fred some love.
MORE PROJECTS!
man you have more trust in 2 side tape than i do
did you leave some gaps in the lower double sided tape to allow any moisture that gets between the bumper and plate to drain away
Chad's Fab Crew are the BEST!
That bus needs duel rear wheels bad, it would look and handle so much better.
you could always, you know, finish a project. like maybe King Fred?

The rear bumper almost sound like a steel drum. 😊
Compared to how the tape works for me, yours was very pleasing.
In my humble opinion. It would be cool if you painted a cool ‘55 Chevy.
P.S. Paul asked me to hit you up.😂
