Children's Lenten Retreat - A Disciple of Jesus by the Grave

As we celebrate the season of Lent, we invite all children to participate in St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish’s weekly retreat videos, each one explaining different ways to be disciples of Jesus. Each video will have a corresponding sticker, that can be collected the following Sunday during communion and put in your retreat booklet. This week, we learn about being a Disciple of Jesus by the grave. The challenge is to draw a picture of the disciples around Jesus’ empty tomb, and draw yourself there with them. In your picture, add some words you think of that help you remember the meaning of Good Friday and Easter.
Stickers for this week will be in a basket at the entrance by the big cross - if you aren’t able to attend mass on Sunday, you can pick them up on Monday!
Finally, we would like to remind you about our Easter Scavenger Hunt with the Disciples of Jesus, happening on Monday April 5th from 4:00-6:00pm. We ask all children to please be registered for a time using the link on our parish website. The scavenger hunt will have 8 stations, which you will be guided through by your group leaders, so please arrive for the time you signed up for. Bring your booklets with you!
