- 2015 Woodmizer LT Super 70 hydraulic sawing hickory. Using a turbo 747 blade. All white hickory is the hardest wood on a blade. I often use a mix of old hydraulic fluid and diesel to clean the blade.

747s are definitely the best blade for hickory
The 747 is the only blade we currently use. I can’t see any other reason to use other blades. Unless you only saw poplar. Then I would either do a 10 degree or 7.
Man I love it watch you saw. Your mill is a lot faster then my LT 35. Where is you mill operation located at?

I started on a lt 50 and we have a guy with a lt 40 that saws for us now. All Woodmizer mills are great.
I’m in north east MS. I started working at my uncles mill when I was 11 years old. After school, and summers. He had 5 mills on the yard with about 90 employees. I worked there about 18 years,and he passed away. Watching you remind me of a lot of the good men I worked with. I love running my little LT 35 mill. Keep it up,and I’ll keep watching. Nothing like knocking sawdust off your clothes before walking in your house. I work for a tire company now ,and saw on my days off. Be safe.
What do you do with all the saw dust? Use it for anything?
Bandmill sawdust is useless lol I wish I could figure a way to profit from it.
