I’d would setup 2nd router in same subnet. But that’s just me. You can also just setup as wireless switch without using wan port on 2nd router, letting 1st router handle dhcp.

Buongiorno, ho da poco tempo un modem TIM che non ha un interruttore per disattivare il wifi, sono costretto a trovarne uno senza ma se lo trovo basta solo inserirlo sulla linea TIM oppure è necessaria una programmazione . Ciao grazie

I find it useless to connect a router to an intermediate one between modem and router, if you want more ethernet connections better place a switch and you can have from 5 to 20 additional, if you want to have double band wifi better a double band router , avoid losses, have reliability and fewer errors by wiring, very bad way to connect your network

I think most computer doesn't come with two lan port. If you have wifi on that computer then you can connect with other wifi router by make it as repeater and connect with that computer wifi. NOTE it's only applicable if computer wifi modem can support hotspot mode.

There is no point having 2 routers ,

some homes are big and need multiple routers
network extenders wont be good because you only get like 20% network
example: if u have a 100mbps network
extender gives you 20mbps
therefor you need multiple routers and connect them via ethernet cables.
