The OluKai Mio Li is an interesting training shoe. This model is designed to walk the line between being a good daily driver and shoe for the gym.
I think what's most interesting about the OluKai Mio Li is its Drop-In heel construction and how good they look for daily wear contexts. Despite its good looks, I wanted to know if you could train hard in the Mio Li.
In this OluKai Mio Li review, I break down multiple performance categories to help you decide if this shoe is a good fit for your needs.

I think if you're on the market for a training shoe to wear in warmer months that can double as a daily wear shoe, then the OluKai Mio Li is a good option to look into.
They're pretty comfortable, perform pretty well in the gym, and have a good level of arch support.
For serious training, this model does fall short, so I'd suggest making sure you know this before investing in this model.

Really great review. i was like how in the world u find this shoes with the weirdest name. but then u started off by saying ur were targeted. and they nailed u. dude, u r becoming a force on youtube!!!! u have done an outstanding job growing ur youtube channel which is super challenging.
Also, interesting is this shoe is x-trainer/mule. mule by day and x-trainer in the evening at the gym.
Haha, I fall victim to targeted ads way more often than I’d like 😂
Thank you - brick by brick! Just have to keep chipping and making videos that I enjoy.
LOL @ trainer/mule comment
The shoe has Summer Vibes all over them. I live in NJ, go to the Shore a lot, these look great for beach wear with some light workouts.
Right? I’ve been using these as slip ons and will be bringing them to Cancun with me for the wedding we have coming up!
Nice review! I'm curious if they stay clean with ease over time? The website says it has mudblock technology or something lol
Relatively clean. I wouldn’t be rocking these out in mud, but they wipe down pretty easy. Darker colorways would be better long-term though!
This is a good looking shoe. And I would love these for at work. They're a classy looking casual shoe.
They have some really cool colorways for this model!
@@thatfitfriend I like the heel too, that's a nice feature
I’m debating these shoes for casual wear and lots of walking at a time. Either these or On Cloud 5 shoes. What are your thoughts?
Cloud 5 are more comfy, imo!
Which outlet in orlando area can I get this shoes?
I have no idea tbh!
The stitching under the laces don’t feel good on the tops of my feet, reaching out to them for warranty
Let me know how they handle that ask! Always want to learn about smaller companies and their customer support
I’m guilty of buying into the hype of this brand. All the smoke & mirrors of being an American brand [Hawaii] when they’re Chinese made like most everything else. I bought a pair of sandals & they absolutely tore into my skin like nothing else … horrible. Immediately bought a cheaper pair of Reef slides & never looked back - simple comfort w/o the big ad campaign to push image over actual function.
Hard to fault Reef. Yeah, this shoe is okay…but for the price, there are much stronger models, especially for training!
